Default Plop?

Could someone tell me what that is? I'm sure that's a dumb question, but I just have no idea.
Thanks!!

I was reading about plopping and how many of you guys do this, but does it really make a huge difference? What is the difference in your hair when you do or don't plop. I am not sure if I am a 2b or 2c, but I posted about my hair type in the general discussion forum. I am wanting to try this but won't get a chance until the weekend. Just thought I'd get a general concensus of what exactly this does to wavy hair.

For me it helps me gives better curl definition and it is nice way to keep my hair out of the way why I am getting ready in the morning. Huge difference I am not sure, but noticable yes.

I just tried it last night...I loved the results, but I had a few problems...Any advice?...I posted it in the General Discussion, but I'm scared that it's being bumped down, and I want to try this tonight if I get an answer...

1. I have trouble actually putting the t-shirt or towel on. I followed directions, but I must be doing it wrong because it takes forever to get all my hair to stay...it keeps falling out of the shirt.

2. I loved the way it looked when I woke up, but the t-shirt didn't stay on all night. I felt like I couldn't move around (like I had to sleep in one place) and when I woke up, it had come out. How do you guys make it stay? Tying the sleeves only worked for a little while.

3. When I woke up, it was practically all the way dry. I was scared to re-wet and it take the curls out. Is it okay to diffuse when it is only VERY slightly wet...I was scared it would create frizz.

Thanks guys! This site has been a tremendous help thus far.

I usually just keep mine tied together by securing it with a hairband, otherwise it comes undone. Plopping helps me with clumping and enhancement, but I don't usually sleep in it.

I haven't plopped for awhile, but when I did, I used a large t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. I secured it with a large claw clip in the back and only left it up for about 20 minutes.
