Alternately, a finisher?

A continuation of my previous post re: good gels, perhaps I could use something to finish & seal the results using Control Freak? I've been curious about spray waxes and pomades ... have never really figured out how to use pomades well yet.

Sorry, I have never used pomades and only used Noodle Head cream for a short while. I used to use a finishing cream when I flat ironed, though.

Mayim uses (or used) Kenra Platinum Grooming Pomade. I have been tempted to try it since she has talked it up so much.

Aha. I was tempted to buy the Kenra pomade but went with MOP high shine pomade, since some of my stylists have used it to great effect in the past. What about *gasp* hairspray? I've yet to find a decent one w/o alcohol.

I wouldn't hair spray on my hair. It's way heathier than before, but I don't think it would do any good...
I have also been really tempted to try Mayim's Kenra stuff. When I hear *shine* my attention is all there !! But I don't know where to find this stuff in Germany. Any ideas?

Love:Jessicurl WDT+Too Shea, Coconut Oil, Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo, BRHG and Curls Rock Creme.
I'm going to make a plug for MOP's high shine pomade -- great ingredients (lots of natural extracts), no cones but yes protein low on the list, and really nice easy to work with texture! I love it!!
(Can't say that I've found the miracle hold-without-stringy-curls product yet though, but the pomade gives decent hold with extreme shine)
