Mine is just cut in long layers and my stylist did point cutting on me which is basically just cutting into random curls all around the head. It helps the hair spring up it seems without getting a choppy, shelf look that layers can get. My shortest layer is just below my chin and that's where the hair framing my face lies.
Do you like your hair the way it is? If you like it and think it looks good then I wouldn't worry about changing styles.
I'm going to a Devachan curl consultant in my state on Thurs. This will be my first Devachan cut so I'm really excited about that!!! They do a variation of point cutting I believe but on dry hair and they take each curl and how it curls and sits on your head into consideration while cutting. I'll be posting details and some pics after. Lots of people here like their cuts but alot of wavies/curlies get longer layers and some point cutting too.
