Default What is the pixie curl diffusing method?

I've searched the site and couldn't come up with an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

THEN turn on the blowdryer on high as long as my scalp can take it, then medium, then low, then cool shot, then off. take the bowl away from scalp then repeat process on front/right and front/left sections. flip right side up and get the underside and back as good as i can with same method, then flip over again and get whatever else i can. it's not 100% dry when i'm done but pretty close. the key for me is ONLY having the dryer turned on when the bowl is held against my scalp, i always turn it off when i switch sections to minimize my hair getting blown around and thus frizz from forming.

I am going to try that before church this morning. Pixiecurl and lushaholic are my hair idols, even tho I don't think I'll ever get mine as curly as theirs. I can still copy everything they do in a pathetic attempt to achieve curl greatness!

I tried the method today and had an awesome (wavy) hair day. I had volume and not much frizz. Very impressed!

Well. lushaholic, your hair is gorgeous! Prolly other gals love it too, they're just not as effusive as I am!

I tried pixiecurl's diffuser technique and my 2a was definitely 2b, maybe more in spots! I was very excited!! Check out my album, you can compare. Hopefully it isn't just me who thinks so!! Actually I know it's not just me because I got many comments from DH & DS's and people at church. I think some people were a little alarmed by the change, you know how we all love the status quo!
