Any wavies use SheaM or Kinky Curly products?

I alternate KC products one day and CK + BRHG the next. I've heard that CK can build up and I'm trying to avoid that. I hate to jinx myself by saying this, but so far, this combo has been working. *knocks wood*
Loose botticelli curls and waves
No silicones/no sulfates since March 2008
I know I'm a little late to the thread, but I just have to pop my 2 cents in.

I love this stuff. It seems to encourage more curl for me, which is great since I have lazy waves. The KCKT detangles and moisturizes wonderfully and the KCCC leaves my hair curly, but touchable. I do have to use a light gel on top, just for hold.

And if anybody else is interested in a sample, I can probably ship some off (whole tub=too much for my needs). Just PM me if you're interested.

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.
LoLo-
I feel you are my hair twin in terms of texture and thickness, but I would say mine is a tad more curly.

I love the KKKT/KCCC. It sure is a learning curve though. It works best for me if I use a dab of the KKKT rinsed out. I read this on some forum with hints for those with finer hair. I use about less than a dime size, comb it through with a Mebco Detangling come, rinse from scalp down so it distrubutes evenly, and leave a bit in.

The custard works better for me on squezed dried hair (there is a post about this by CurlyInFlorida). I don't use a lot, rake it through to distribute evenly, and scrunch, scrunch, scrunch.

If it is really humid out, and I keep touching my hair, it can get poofy. I might try some BSRG over it, but my hair cannot tolerate a lot of product.

I hesitate to try the Sheam becasue of the Glycerin-my hair just does not seem to like it. Good Luck!
I've been using KCKT/KCCC for a week and a half now and am extremely pleased.

My hair is as soft as a chinchilla, shiny, a heck of a lot more wavy and has no halo-frizz to speak of. Even 2nd day hair looks great! With KCCC, I forget I even have anything in my hair, which is amazing considering the great hold it provides. Also, I think, due to the humid summer heat here, a KCKT spritz works better for me or else I start to lose volume. In general, leave-ins haven't worked that well for me, with KCKT being the exception so far.

Oh, added bonus, I can finger through windswept hair with ease. Buh-bye, tangles!

As for the Shea - that was a dud for me (I might have jojoba issues).

I need to stay away from these forums!

I just received my liter sized bottles of 4 different JC products and yet this particular thread pushed me over the edge I have no business being on. I just placed an order for KCKT and KCCC. Two weeks CG and I'm out so many $$...... BUT, my hair has never looked better!!

Anyway.....I'm stumped on what BRHG stands for, thinking I might want to give it a try. LOL!!

Welp, it's now been over a month of using KCCC and I'm happy to declare this my HG styling product. Whatever my wash routine, I get very consistent results. Gosh, hope it works just as well during the cold, dry months!

KCKT is nice but I've stopped using it as a spritz during the summer because I hate losing volume. No matter, KCCC still leaves my hair incredibly soft and manageable.

The one time I got less-than-desirable results was when I used KCCC and BRHG together. Nice hold and definition but I noticed flaky specks throughout my hair after the scrunch-out and the BRHG made it feel tangly and producty. So, for me, I'm done messing with a good thing. KCCC, on its own, is perfection for me!
What's working: MOP-C Hydrating Shampoo roots only EOD, Elucence Moisture Balancing conditioner or Biolage Conditioning Balm; style with Innersense Quiet Calm Curl Control, and the AMAZING KCCC!

I noticed I had the best luck with the KC combo on days when I used the Come Clean or another gentle poo. MsGiblet said she had a similar experience, as if they needed a "clean slate" to perform at their best. I know it's not true for everyone, but could be a factor to consider...
