Well, that was an expensive lesson!

I still had a balance on a gift certificate that DH bought me, so I made an appointmet to get a clear gloss and trim.

Got there and found out that they don't do clear glosses. How about a deep conditioning instead? Ok, I agreed to that.

My hair is like straw today! She used Pureology Hydrate Condition and I was under the hood for 15 minutes. And, to make it worse, she talked me into buying a bottle of the stuff! (I couldn't tell yet how bad the hair was.)

Expensive lesson learned - my hair does not like lots of protein!!! :(

On the positive side, after talking to a member at another board about this board (she's a member here also), I found a recommended stylist/salon in my hometown and will make an appointment to see her at Christmas! :D

Mine doesn't either, so I sympathize! Can you return the bottle to the salon?

I don't know. I'm going to call on Monday and ask. I hope so! If not, I'll see if one of my sisters or a friend can use it. It probably wouldn't be as bad just to use as an occasional dc, but I don't even want to try it now!
