Hi I'm new and I think I'm a 2 something?

Can anyone verify that so I know what type of products are best for my hair?

I've been following the CG method since December and my hair is much happier and looks so much better. Now if I could just control the frizz and wild spots (cowlicks) with products that would work for my hair I'd be thrilled!

Anyway, thank you for any responses and thank you so much for this fabulous forum and the wealth of fantastic information here.

(oh and sorry for the dorky pics but they are the only decent ones I have with my hair natural)

I'd say you're bordering on a 3a.

Very pretty hair. I'd say 3A also.

When choosing products, it's also important to consider your porosity and texture. Hair type seems to have less to do with products than being able to describe your hair.

There's a thread on the go about this topic.

Texture, Porosity, and other Hair Type Madness

I use FSG alone quite a bit which is not a typical trait of a 2 or 3A. I can't condition with heavy conditioners and can only condition once a week. I have found that products and methods that work for many with my hair type do not work for me.

So take this FWIW, for frizz, CK is my HG. And cowlicks, well let me know if you find an answer.
