What works like a cone?

Is there anything that works like a cone but is not a cone? I really miss the softness and shiny look of cones. Is there an oil or something that washes out?

Another solution for the winter months is to scrunch out the crunch with Jane Carter Nourish and Shine (which can be purchased off the shelf at Whole Foods, but also in Curlmart if you don't have a WF):

If you use JCS nourish and shine, you use it to scrunch out the crunch, but only use a TEENY pea sized amount. Rub it in your palms until it's all melted, then scrunch. That gives shine and softness.
Medium texture, normal-high porosity, wavy-curly 2c to 3a-ish hair that is MOISTURE HUNGRY!!!
Currently recovering from a protein hair crisis. My hair hates protein, apparently.

Thank you, I am placing an order tomorrow so I'll give that a try. I'm having one of those desperate hair days. I still have old cones in my drawer (I'm throwing them away today) and I was so tempted to use them this morning. Thanks again.
