Great Combo

I tried usign Re:coil and BRHG together, and AMAZING results. Granted, I used MUCH more than most people on here say to use. But I could easily say that my 2a limp waves were at least a 2c/3a!

The results worked 2 days in a row...let's just hope it continues to work throughout the summer!

That's great! Were you able to scrunch out the crunch okay or was it the wet look for a long time?

I am a 2A/B and I have had fantastic success with GF curl shaping spray gel and without the "crunch." (GF = Garnier Fructis)
Curl Type 2A
Lone HG product: Jessicurl Too Shea Conditioner
I second GF Curl Shaping Spray Gel. But I find that Re:coil and BRHG gives me more definition and better curls. I use the GF sometimes when I'm in a hurry or want to use something cheap when I run out of Re:coil.

I guess I should probably better explain my routine:

-Shampoo (yes I shampoo)...I have an oily scalp
-Condition - I like to leave it in for a little while while in the shower then wash it out
Sometimes I condition several times
-Immediately after getting out of the shower, I apply Re:coil. I put it in like I'm putting my hair in a ponytail...then I brush through my hair with a comb to distribute
-Scrunch in BRHG with my hands.
-Scrunch with a Mircofiber turban...I continue doing this off and on until my hair isn't sopping
-Add more BRHG and diffuse on low heat...I continue to scrunch as I diffuse...I try not to touch it with my hands much, but sometimes I use my hands to help scrunch
-Diffuse until mostly dry/add more BRHG as needed
-I then scrunch more Re:coil onto dry hair
-The diffuser helps with the crunch, and scrunching it does the same. I never have a huge problem with it.

I use a lot more product then most people, but I found that's the way it works for me. I have really thick hair.

Thanks for posting your routine, I could definitely follow that. Are those two products CG friendly? I would also have to use a lot, because I have a lot of hair.

I think they're CG friendly, but I'm not exactly great with ingredients.
