Down Under Naturals gel
HETT gel

I was actually looking for HEBE, but the Pharmasave I was at didn't have any, so I had a choice between HETT and HESMU on sale for $3, and I thought that I'd try HETT since I like the scent better, and plus, the tube is purple. I know the hold is medium, but I have some little bottles of BRHG that I use just a pea sized amount as needed, and also, the DUN gel is supposed to be maximum hold.

^^ Heehee, I love the purple bottle

Walmart - yes yes yes they are finally stocking a natural hair care section!!!
- Giovanni TTTT shampoo.
- Got2B kinkier curly mousse. Yes, it has A-cone. Gasp. But I low poo frequently, I rarely just straight co-wash, and the TTTT shampoo has cocamidopropyl betaine which I keep reading removes A-cone. It doesn't have the drying alcohol that the fat-tastic does. Curious to see what my hair does with it. If it hates it, it was only $4.

Still wanna try Joico joiwhip but I have never even heard of Ulta before this board - I wonder if it's a regional store or something - may have to order online.

This week I ordered some Spiral Solutions product. And vowed (yet again) that this will be the last thing I buy until I run out of something and need to replace it.

I use my JessiCurls stuff every day, and I'm eagerly waiting for the SS stuff, since it's supposed to be great for fine hair.

I'm not good at waiting

I've been on a spending binge lately! Fortunately, only a few hair products.

All from aveyou:
-Donna Marie Curling Gelly (my other bottle was almost out and nearly two years old so I tossed it)
-CJ Curl Queen (HG!)
-Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo, 32oz (haha, I think another HG. I liked it slightly better than the HCC)

In the last week I used Curl Junkie Curl Rehab as a leave in, had used it for the first time as a DT the week before and not been as pleased as i'd hoped from the good reviews. Was not thinking of reordering, but it was ok as a leave in. I have enough left to do one or two more trys as a DT so jury is still out. Part of me hopes it doesn't work, as I can't afford it!

Gels - I'm quite new to CG and the whole gel thing. Last Friday was hoping for delivery of Matrix Biolage Gellee, but it didn't come in time for Easter break/meet -ups so I got a full size UG scrunching jelly (UK) and I like it, although if I use enough to get good hold then next morning my hair really feels like it needs cowashing - it is like in bed hair position, but with hold!

So much to try when you're new, it is like being a tweenager again and back to square one with products. Luckily I have my birthday soon..

I loooooove the strawberry ice cream scent of CJ curl rehab - but yes it's expensive and I'm finding out more and more I need/can use protein almost daily so every so often I just use it as a RO and smell my hair all day.

I swear I need a keeper! Tonight I bought Aloe Vera gel, AO Honeysuckle Rose shampoo, and some raw shea butter scented with frankincense and myrrh. (Smells wonderful, which is really why I bought it.)

And I'm still (im)patiently waiting for my SS haul to show up

Ok so someone had recommended Dove Cool Moisture Shampoo to me before as I was almost fed up with low poos. Well I finally tried it and LOVE it!! Yes it has the milder sulfate but my hair did not feel the least bit stripped after. Every other low poo I have tried has left me a little stripped. I feel, Im wondering how often I will be able to use this but so far so good. As for cowashing, I might try my AOGPB and see how it fares. Anyone tried it as Cowash? All the Suave and supposed lighter conditioners weigh me down.

Yup. The protein in both bothered my hair a bit. I think my scalp also likes these better because there are less ingredients. I also really liked the Mop C hydrating shampoo but it seemed to make me a bit itchy in the winter.

I know I keep telling myself no new products until I use up some of what I have, but couldn't resist Curly Kinks flash sale. Just got 25% off of my order, so decided to take the plunge and order Satin Roots, Coil Jam, Clean Cream, and Curlycue ReNew.

There's a thread in the 4a forum with coupon codes. That's usually how I get my aveyou.com codes also.

Sorry for the delay- did the first post as I was about to do the mad dash to choir practice. And my cell phone battery decided to die so I was without my cell all evening (just got the new battery via UPS today- charging at this moment).
