well i wanted a scrunching spray, so i picked up hesmu spray gel at target this morning. then i get home and look at the back and realize it has pvp in it. i'm trying it anyway, but not really happy about it. my regular hesmu gel doesn't have pvp, so now i'm wondering why they've put it in the spray gel, and if they've possibly changed the formula of the regular gel, too?! i should have just gotten the mousse, lol.

for some reason that particular polymer leaves a film on my hair that gets on my hands and makes them sticky when i touch my hair after it's dry. i don't know if it's just me or what, but i hate the product-y thing. i noticed it with LA looks gels and hett gel, so i started using gels without it and the film was gone. i've been avoiding it ever since.

So not too bad lately.

Ordered some more DB stuff--another pumpkin conditioner, the herbal leave in spritz, restock on my coconut and aloe moisture pudding and the tucuma butter whip.

I also ordered that Razzamatazz Jellie that Heather0Kay uses--shipping was super cheap!

I just picked up from Christophe low poo..trial size on clearance at CVS for 75 cents so can't beat that.

Oh and I just bought a bunch of hair stuff accessories! Headbands, scarves for the hair, etc. I think I'm going to use some as I really do want to grow out my hair a little.

Anyone else spending Xmas money on product or accessories?

Oh me!! My friend gave me an Ulta gift card -- YAY me! Not sure what I'm gonna get. I'm glad you made that post about the ulta sale. Though I will prolly get makeup instead of hair stuff this time around.

I just made a GoW restock order, was gonna make a darcy's order, but she's outta stock on one of the things I wanted to try.

I got a sample order from Kathymack, and depending on how that goes, I'll prolly pick up some more online stuff hahaha. I did get some KCKT to try -- I figure its my curly duty to try it at least once.

I made a round at Sally's today. I got some Sally girl eyeshadows (thanks peda), and some nail buffers! I also picked up some more aphogee. I also saw this small bottle of Ion volumizing stuff. It was a gel like substance (but not a gel). I was CG (maybe modified cones?) and it was 5 bucks. It was worth a try! The ingredients reminded me of a synthetic version of DoC. With a little PVP added for hold.

Next payday is going to be CJ, hoping to get the new CCCC lite and her cleansing condish. I will add some rehab AND H&B fix to the order!

Uhhh, I had seen the razzamataz in Heather's siggy, and kept meaning to look it up! Thanks for the reminder Alex! haha.

The new year has not been good to me so far, been feeling awful. However I got a curly cut on 29 Dec and have been loving it. I'll post pics soon. They use Mop Top at the salon and I really liked it there. So I got the trial pack. I'm loving it so far. Especially as I've been napping all day and the hair still looks good with very minimal effort this morning. I may even be able to get 2nd day with it. I'm also on the look out for really nice DT's now. My best friend got me a heat cap for Christmas and it's wonderful!

Edit: the Mop Top Trial pack has the SLS free shampoo, daily conditioner, gel and refresher spray.

Totally forgot--I ordered some Chagrin Valley soap bars/shampoo bars as well. Blessedhime and the ladies onthe 4A board keep posting the blessings of the CV Ayurvedic shampoo bar and Empressri says the Neem and Tea Tree is awesome...so I picked up a few samples and some lip balm stuff Not a huge haul..more samples than anything else.

I'm still getting little acne type bumps everwhere ANY clip touches my head. It's why I bought some headbands yesterday--we'll see how they go.

Oooh I want that avurvedic bar SOOO bad! bad goober no soap!! I love soap and soap bars, and you'd think after 5 years of living here that I'd remember they don't rinse out. I keep doing it to myself! I ordered soap bars from Kathy -- did they rinse out, no. I ordered natural skin care with a soap based cleanser -- did it rinse out, no. And I saw those soap bars at Chagrin Valley and I almost ordered some!! Ahhhh its a disease!

So your little plastic clips are breaking you out too? that sucks. I wonder what it is.

I got some Jasmines Shea Butter Condish, KCKT, DM Detangler and the Jasmines body butter. I think I got one more thing but I can't remember. I didn't spend as much as I usually do ha!

At Sally's I got the old school nail buffer with the chamois and the buffing cream! Its awesome! I have very thin nails, so when I would use the 3-1 type buffer, it would take away too much of my actual nail. Make it too thin. This chamois buffer just makes it nice and shiney! Not as smooth and perfect, but I like the sheen.

Oh you'll like the Jasmines...I like the DM Detangler as well as a LI--its very light. I LOVE the Jasmine's BB stuff.

Yep any clip seems to be breaking me out. I'm going to try and not get any product on my scalp at all once I'm done rinsing to see if its just the clip rubbing the product in my scalp or something. Its very frustrating since it itches and its gross!

I just started taking a b vitamin, but my nails have always been this way. Even when I was preggo my nails didn't magically get better like a lot of girls did. My hair has always been fine, but it hasn't always been thin.

To be honest, I think my problem is constant borderline dehydration heh. I just don't get enough water.

For the nails, if you drink Knox gelatin it will help strengthen them. Or there is this hair/nail vit @ the dollar store that helped my gram get nails. She has such thin nails that they always rip right off. Hope this helps

PM Round Trip (got it free with my Ulta rewards woot!) -- my hair dresser used this on me, and I'm really digging it for all in one. I just use a leave in, and then this, and nothing else. I got the tiny sample size one at the salon to try and I've used it quite a bit. Kinda nice.
I think I was looking at this today on my lunch break, but I looked at a lot of things in the salon. :P

I also got a new Diffuser (Conair Ionic Curl Fusion) that I'm loving.
That Darcy's stuff sounds soooo good! Do you still like the hairdryer now that you've had it for a few months?

Today I got AOB5 and KMF Upper Management. I'm on the lookout for the Redken Soft Spin... I'm on spring break in a place with a Whole Foods, an Ulta, and general civilization, so it is my duty to buy stuff. ...despite the fact that I'm having a wurly-hair-is-futile day.

Let us (me in particular) know what you think of KMF UM. I'm looking at that for when my Biolage runs out...which will probably be sooner than I think.
