Your weekly PJ Buys

So I've gone absolutely hog wild in the pass week.

Over the weekend I bought 5 SS products! RPT, DT, Emolience butter, Firm holding Gel & the protien spritz. I've tried samples of everything but the spritz. I love love love it all and my hair loves it too. The butter has really helped my issue with my ends loosing moisture too quickly.

My pre-order for my MiraCurls Curling Gel came in over the weekend. Gosh I love this stuff!!! Huge quantity for a decent price. It'll last me forever too.

Yesterday I hit up an Ultra I didn't know we had here! LOL Thank you internet! and Thank you AJJ for telling me about their sale on Giovani! I picked up the TTT shampoo and condish and I also picked up the Tresemee Naturals condish. The TTT is awsome! It'll be the perfect summer time product for me! Plus the nice cool feeling it give. Oh my! My hair dried in cork screw clumped curls at the end. (It's never done that before!)

I used the tresemee to help detangle my hair in the shower since it was said it had such great slip and it does! I also used a pea size for a leave in this morning when I spritzed my hair wet. <3 <3

So that's what.... 9 products in less than a week. Not to mention all the other stuff I've bought and the sample bottles i have...... You guys are a bad infulence! hahaha but I love it!

New Goals To restore my hair after dying it twice in two weeks. Learning more about products found in the stores to fit my tight budget. I'm still working on trying to grow out my hair.
last week i caved in and ordered jane carter nourish & shine, AOMM and jojoba oil, and it's arrived today.

can't wait to wash my hair!

LOVE tresemme naturals, suave pomegranate, ecostyler, HESMU, BRHG, KCCC, CIAB, CCCClite, KY Jelly & JCN&S.
HATE soy protein.

I thought going CG would lessen the amount of bottles I have in my shower. Not so. I've been sticking to the Garnier and Suave conditioners as I've been learning and now I'm starting to branch out.

This week I picked up:

One of the V05's (can't remember which one) for cowash - haven't tried it yet

GVP CB - I like this quite a bit, and it's the first conditioner that has given me that 'squishy seaweed' feeling while using the Icequeen method

GTTTT Shampoo - Haven't used it yet either. Most likely will on Saturday night.

GTTTT Conditioner - LOVE this stuff. It feels nice and thick on my hair, makes my scalp nice and tingly, and smells so yummy. I have been getting pretty decent hair while using it. However, I left it on my hair tonight while doing all of my shower stuff and rinsed it out at the end - scalp is still on fire an hour later! Maybe a little too much peppermint in it for that. Also got the 'squishy seaweed' feeling.

Restocked my bottles of GFTN and GFSS.

Ordered a haul of samples from Kathymack. Can't wait for them to get here so I can play around with them!

Next week may be dangerous, also. I'm going to NY for Easter, where I'll have access to a Whole Foods. I plan on picking up a variety Kinky-Curly products while there. I got a friend to pick up some KCCC for me while she was in a city with a Whole Foods, and I really like it a lot, so I'm looking forward to trying their other stuff.

I'm afraid I may be turning into a PJ.

Co: GFSS, GVP CB, GTTTT
Leave-in: SN Coconut or GFTN
Stylers: KCCC, L'Oreal Melting Gel, HESMU
Cleanse: Burt's Bees Shampoo Bar (1x week)

My hair loves the Icequeen Method and overnight plopping.

CG since 02/03/10!

So...I just placed an order online at Target, since they now have a Shea Moisture and Curls line. There is a store near me that will have the Shea Moisture, but not the Curls line, so online I went. Unfortunately, they don't have ingredients listed online, but you can return to the store, so if I don't like what I see or if they don't work back they go. Good enough for me (I hate having to pay for return shipping if I don't like something, so I don't normally purchase things online that I can't return to a store).

I got:

Curls: Lavish Moisturizer, Goddess Curl Gel, and Cream Brule

Shea Moisture: Coconut Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk, Coconut Hibiscus Curling Souffle, and Coconut Hibiscus Hold and Shine Daily Moisture Spritz.

I like the shampoo's and conditioner's I am using so I didn't venture into that area.

Can't wait to get them!

Big Lots had a drug-store buyout clearance thingy, and I found a little sample bottle of KMF UM for 40 cents! Go, me! That was the product I wanted to try next.

Skala
Shea butter conditioner
Fruit cocktail (deep treatment)
Ceramides G3 leave-in styling cream
Nexxus designing texture (texture cream)

I also got vegetable glycerin from Hobby Lobby (soap making aisle) for making a glycerin spray.

Woops, the Skala Shea butter conditioner and Fruit cocktail (deep treatment) both have petrolatum which is evidently like mineral oil. At least I only paid a 1.50 for both of them.

Biotera Curl Creme to replace my old ('cone infested) one and a satin sleeping cap

Hopefully I'll be able to catch the elusive *gasp* second.. day... hair. I know, it's not hard for most, but I'm like, the most toss-turn sleeper you will ever know in the history of the world.

garnier fructis s&s, hesmu, and biotera curl creme.

I bought the Burt's Bees Pomegranate and Soy Conditioner this week.

But I also plan to buy some Burt's Bees Pom. and Soy Shampoo this week, heh.
curly hair and proud (:

I've just ordered the KMS cranberry and pepper gel and TIGI Moisture Manic condish - both first time things. I'm really really resisting the urge to order another gel, Biolage and/or Aubrey B5. And Crown Pride gel,I want, agh! Once my product junkie is unleashed there is no stopping her!

Also my hair is desperately needing a trim and my hairdresser doesn't have an appointment for two weeks, so it really is emergency maintenance!

Generic Biolage cond. balm, Boots Naked Shine Condish, Body Shop Honey,

I'm so excited! I just got Kinky Curly Knot Today and Curling Custard, and Curl Junkie Curl Assurance Smoothing Gellie.

I also got more Burt's Bees conditioners -- Pomegranate Soy and Shiny Grapefruit.

I got the Nivea sun-kissed beautiful legs. It's has something in it to slow hair growth. I used Jergens last year with good results. You just have to make sure you spread it evenly and let it dry completely before getting dressed.

Oh, and I also got barettes for my daughter. I almost never leave Target without looking in the toddler section for hair accessories.

I finally discovered the joy that is Darcys Botanicals Pumpkin Seed Conditioner I love it!! smells soooooo good.
Hi wavies,I'm a newbie here and I come from non-english speaking country,so please excuse my possible mistakes.

This is a great thread, love to read what you others bought, 'cause I don't feel so bad when I know there are more total PJs like me

So last time, on monday, I bought an ayurveda soap bar which is really great, I was extremely pleased with the results and I also bought K pour Karité leave-in conditioner for kids with nice banana smell. I haven't tried it yet,'cause it was pretty expensive, so I'm waiting for some special occasion .

I really wish the suppliers and stores from my country would take more care about natural products! It's impossible to get 99% of the products mentioned here on nc.com So it's really hard to find anything that is natural+CG friendly.

I bought some Lloyd's Saltspring Organics Citrus Squeeze shampoo. I have the Citrus Squeeze and Paradise Found conditioners already. The shampoo is very natural (sulfate and silly cone free of course) and fairly local, with Saltspring Island being about a 40 minute ferry ride away.

A lady who runs Saltspring Soapworks (yes, another natural body care company...they're very crafty there on Saltspring Island) has some Prairie Naturals Wild Rose shampoo and conditioner she is going to give me because they're too heavy for her hair. I smelled this at a store nearby that had some, and I admit that I find the smell of this variety a bit strong, but I think I will be alright. She said she'd diluted the shampoo, because it was too rich for her, but that should be ok for me. I hope to pick them up in the next few days.

I did use the Lloyds last night, and I think it was good, though I used too much shampoo. I think my next purchase is a shampoo massager thing.
