Your weekly PJ Buys
So I thought I'd mimic the 4A forum and they have a great thread about their weekly PJ buys. It's super fun to read all of them and what people are buying and where.
I'm going to start another thread for what did you do to your hair today (also from the 4A forum).
So first proper kudos to the 4A forum for giving me the idea and second definitions---just post whatever you bought in hair products or accessories this week!

My weekly PJ Buys
Qualifier: This was the week of BF all..it's not like I do this ALL the time. After I posted I figured it might look as if my last name should be Rockefeller or something! LOL! Also I paid some bills early AND my ex cancelled his trip (which would have cost me money due to additional gas to p/u kids and dog food and so on for his dog) AND my sister and I agreed to not exchange gifts (her hubby is still out of work) so I found a little unexpected windfall coming in. Lest you all should think this is any sort of normal..even for me this is on the far side of excessive and far more than I would normally do Just clarifying
Of course heavily influenced by the BF sales:
Hairveda:
Amala Cream Rinse
Amala Shampoo
Moist Condition 24/7
Cocasta Shikaki Oil
Sweet Nature by Eddie:
Large pack of all products
Afroveda:
Shikaki Growth Elixir
Men's Ginger pomade
Shescentit:
Gillian and Seyani butter (samples sizes as we love to try new scents. LOVE these butters!)
Honey Conditioner
Hibiscus Conditioner
Jasmine's Bath and Body:
Moisturizing Leave In (2)
Babassu Conditioner (2)
Shea conditioner
I got smaller 4oz sizes to try scents. With the BF discount it was about $28 including shipping for all!
Curl Junkie (my major BF haul!)
Beauticurls Condish and Leave In
Curls in a Bottle
Smoothing Conditioner
CALI
Curl Theory conditioner
Hibiscus and Banana Deep Fix
Hibiscus and Banana LI
I got 4 sample bottles of Kiss My Face (conditioner and upper management gel) from my local health food store--they were on clearance for 50 cents each! So $2 for the lot of them Yippee!
Also scored at my local Marshall's last night--went in and noticed they had some EO with different ingredients than are in the regular EO you can normally get from Marshall's. So I got the Sweet Orange and Honey shampoo and conditioner. I got them on clearance for $5 for the 32 oz size! Woot! This stuff is like magic on my son's hair so I'm super excited to try the new formula on him!
In my PJ defense I'll say that 3 of the orders were about $23-28 total which is where my $75 over budget went But hey there is only one BF right?

I'm waiting for tomorrow, so I might add to this list
PM Round Trip (got it free with my Ulta rewards woot!) -- my hair dresser used this on me, and I'm really digging it for all in one. I just use a leave in, and then this, and nothing else. I got the tiny sample size one at the salon to try and I've used it quite a bit. Kinda nice. ooooh and as a christmas present to myself I got the Smashbox palette! I'm so excited!!
CJ haul -- got one of each of the new stuff, except the smoothing condish. It said best for thick hair, so I'll take that as an excuse to avoid.
Gonna order from Hairveda tomorrow.
The moist condition pro and the Vatika frosting. prolly gonna get some of the pur whipped butter/cream/shea or something too.
That's it. I need to order from GoW tomorrow too.

I got Yes to Tomatoes! at Target because I didn't want to go to Ulta to get LPVNG. I'm really happy with it.

All I did was order some raw materials. But that is big fun for me.

runner -- I encourage you to keep ordering raw supplies. I want to make stuff so bad. I'm just not in a place where I have the time right now. So I'll live through you, vicariously heh.
gekko -- Round Trip is this goo like stuff. Its very watery, sorta reminds me of the Artec texturline gel (can't remember if you've tried that or not). Its runny, not like BHRG at all. It has a little bit of mag sulfate, but I haven't noticed it drying my hair out at all, but I'm not mag sulfate sensitive either. I hated it in the summer because it dried plasticy on my hair. It was like putting straight BHRG in. however, now it gives me hold with no crunch and I think it actually gives a bit of curl enhancement. I've really been digging it. Its not a fave on the boards, I think the general consensus was "meh, I've used better."

I've heard the round trip describe as being similar to CK.... but I haven't used either so I can't personally comment.

it was nothing like CK for me. CK has no hold, round trip does. CK gave me no curl enhancement, round trip does. Esp in the summer, round trip had seriously insane plastic hold. I think its all the humidity this time of year that keeps it from feeling plasticy.

Reviving
I've picked up a few things and thought I'd mention it.
Due to Goobernut and Rymorg I p/u Paul Mitchell Round Trip which I'm going to try today
I ordered more Jasmine's products--more of the Shea Conditioner (the BOMB!) and Babassu Conditioner and some of her body butters and lotions since kathymack said that they were very nice. We've discovered lately that natural body products like butters keep my son's excema away and keep all of us from itching. I've ditched cones and icky stuff in my body lotions and my skin is SO much better!
I was finally able to order from Darcy's Botanicals so I ordered the new Pumpkin conditioner, more curling jelly, and the new spray leave in for fine hair. She's sending me samples of the Tucuma Whip and the new Wild Plum Twisting cream. I can't ait to try them!
I also got a new Diffuser (Conair Ionic Curl Fusion) that I'm loving.
I know we're in the holiday season--but I know I'm not the only one who buys stuff year round

Nothing hair related this week....I'm busy playing with combos with what I have. The most recent things I've gotten is my CJ haul. I got all 5 of the new products plus the shampoo and the smoothing gellie. I did get some new mineral makeup though. I'm waiting for Christmas money to place more orders. Not sure what I'm going to get....since I've found my hg in CJ products finally, I'm kinda taking a hiatus.

This is what I bought today
EO Sweet Orange and Honey (thanks to alex for the heads up that this is actually different from the reg sweet orange) It has protein AND coconut oil!!
Chi Infra Red Gel (got this from Helloitsio -- just like she recommened Artec)
I almost ALMOST bought this little baggie of stuff from Terax. It was 12.99 and it had two of the small size terax crema, small miele shampoo, and a small lifedrops. I decided that since i have tried and don't like the terax crema -- why would I buy that bag? LOL. It is christmas!! I should be spending this money on other people!! so I put it back.
I did get this supercute green hat though! haha.
