Your hair looks lovely! And about the bangs: I have the same thing, bangs that go any place but the right one...
When my hair is about chin length I can make it curl better, instead of it standing right up or being completely flyaway.

I agree, Curly_Lyn, your hair looks great...today I'm planning on probably trying out Ecostyler to see if this works any better than it did a few months ago

I concur with the comments about Curly_Lyn's hair
co-wash with suave naturals, RO with AOHR followed with a 1:3 ACV/water rinse. Pea-sized amount of KCKT as LI, topped with KCCC. Pixie-diffused til half dry, added homemade FSG and pixie-diffused the rest of the way. tiny amount of KCKT to SOTC.
The ends are a little off...

Awww, thanks kimmidawn and RainyDayWaves! I have yet to have a day when I'm completely happy with my hair, but I suppose that comes with the territory of being female.

I think that also comes with seeing all the great results of everyone else (I know when I see other people's fantastic results, I often want my hair to look like theirs, even if I know it's not possible)...just know that sometimes other people look at your hair and wish theirs could look like yours
Today, I ended up trying out LA Looks Nutra Curls - I had tried it back in February, but it gave me too much frizz...now that the dews are higher (57F today), the humectants in it weren't so frizz inducing for me...overall, nice product, I'll be playing around with.

Very nice, kimmidawn! That's the nice thing about these forums- someone will always think our hair looks nice, even when we think we're having a bad hair day.

So had stronger, more long lasting waves with LA Looks Nutra Curl today once I took out scrunching with a flour sack towel after applying product...same routine as yesterday, minus the flour sack towel scrunching (after applying product, went straight into diffusing).

Looks awesome Pixie, glad you found your HGs!
Put some spray in my dry hair this morning (mixed warm water with sea salt, KCKT, lavender oil and almond oil in a spray bottle). then smoothed some AnGEL over it to tame the frizz (high dews today). Let it dry while i did my makeup then smoothed some (tiny tiny bit) of coconut oil to SOTC. Considering I didn't like it at all last night before bed, I'm surprised it turned out like it did lol.

[QUOTE=RainyDayWaves;1966606] I think we could be hair twins too
I check out other wavies use with the same properties as me. It's hard finding what works.
I had a sample from a fellow curly on British curlies. But I have ordered some from strawberry net on ebay. I'm in the Uk so can't by instore here

I will wash my hair today but this is from the other day. The night before that, I washed with DevaCurl No Poo, then conditioned with the One Conditioner. Left it in for a few minutes, then partially rinse it out. I apply the Mister Right spray and then put in the Arc Angel Gel. Scrunch that it in before going to bed, resting my head and hair on a pure silk pillowcase. (It's a Godsend, you guys... buy one or two!)
I wake up looking like below. Perfectly defined waves and curls.

Wait, that's you having just woken up? No spritzing or messing with your hair? Lol and I thought my second day hair looked good

Agh! Accidentally lost my post the first time... Take 2!
Very beautiful, Whirly Waves! My hair takes a little bit of manipulating in the morning when I sleep with it styled.
I cowashed with gvp cb and RO with a tiny bit of cb mixed with Ion Effective Care, but only rinsed out with ACV. I raked in a new trial FSG curl cream, plopped for just a couple minutes, scrunched, diffused to set the gel, then air dried while I slept. When I woke up, I put a tiny bit of KCKT in, diffused for a couple minutes, then SOTC'd and put a tiny bit of pomade on my fly-away frizz. It's soft today. Even though my pictures can't perfectly depict my results, I'll post some.

Im having... dare I say it... what I would call a curly day today. Didnt have time to diffuse much & really surprised it air dried like this, esp since my "gel" was just a die size of la bella LOC cut with BB's FSG so it was liquidy.
Low pooed, ION EC was RO, LI was KCKT, JCRR, then my FSG/La Bella mix.
Its been almost a year curly & my progress pics are amazing to me. I want to challenge myself to minimal heat usage now & see if I can heal my still-damaged front layers & very outer canopy.
Sent from my PG06100 using CurlTalk App

Thank you! It has held up all day and I used pretty much zero strong or even medium hold products! I've long wondered why I keep bothering with gels since the only one I've ever liked is SCC and all the rest just seem to pull my hair apart with their stickiness. I really dislike anything too grabby and I've kept on trying them hoping they'd work and they just don't.
So, screw it! I like the touchable softness of it without gel and apparently my curl pattern is strong enough on it's own. I'm pretty happy with my product stash right now, and my goals for any future product purchases will be proper moisturization and curl formation/enhancement with minimal, mostly organic ingredients. I'm learning that my hair is much more agreeable when I'm not loading it up with chemicals.
