no wash last night, very light mist of water, super-loose pineapple covered with satin cap overnight.

OK hair this morning but it is a little too messy for work so now it is in ponytail.

Looking forward to haircut later this month; I realized it has been nearly a year since I cut the superlong hair into merely long hair. Goin' to see the respected Tiffany for the first time.

Today, I revisited DoC and I am so glad I did!! I might have to buy some of this!! I don't what I did last time when I used it, but this morning it is really working for me.

I did take a picture of the back (didn't post it) and wow, you can really see how scraggly my ends are, I hope I can get into Sassy's for a cut.

Wow, Dark_Waves and Gekko. Looks great.

I didn't do much today. Decided to plop overnight (BIG MISTAKE), so I just re-wet it, applied just a bit of HETT mousse and a 3 pea-sized portions of LA Looks gel.

Normal diffusing and SOTC. These pics are from my Macbook after the wind and about 4 hours, but you can get the basic idea.

Any thoughts on what my curl type is, btw?

This looks great! A lot of shine. Did you just use DoC alone?

Thumbs up I love this thread!

Thanks to everyone who posts...I am having the most FUN reading all these!!! And the pic's!

Today was a very good hair day. Got 2 hairompliments already which was nice!

Used Jessicurl GLS and Aloeba..then I smoothed in some KBB Hair Milk and scrunched in some ( 2tsp's or so) of DM MCCG. Added Abba Pure Finish Gel for the hold.

Curls are nice, hair is soft and does not feel producty at all. Definitely a good combo.

As a sidenote I am really liking all the Jessicurl shampoo and conditioners. I will try to revisit the RR and CCSS but as of now I think the JC styler's are just not for me. But I love the scent (Island Fantasy) and so far everything I've tried except the RR/CCSS has worked. I still have the Gelebration spray to try. I also liked the Awe Inspiring Spray as a mid day product--I'm not sure of its refreshing power but it did make my hair smell good and tame some frizz.

I wish she had a butter/pomade. I used my DM CHHB to scrunch out and lay down the edges a bit which I love!

Even though this is at day end I wanted to get some pic's for the blog!

Ummm, it's 4:00 pm here and I haven't done anything yet....is that bad?

Seriously, my hair is a hot mess right now. Like I wouldn't even leave the house with it looking like this!

I have promised myself that tomorrow I will do something with my hair. Maybe. Probably not.

I low pooed with my Abba, then rinsed with Tropical Coconut (Suave), and since I heard it's better to scrunch in your product, I scrunched in GVP CB, Proclaim Curl Activator and then Aloe Vera Gel, and it was a MESS. My hair was crunchy as all hell, and when I rake it in it doesn't do that. Grrr!

Gekko, you know I vie with you for Jesus' favor and all, and I think you're too hard on pandas, but Jeez-oh-Pete, you have gorgeous eyes.

What did I do today with my type two hair? Btched about it on the "Say It" thread, and left a message for my stylist (who didn't call me back, btw).

eta to add: not only did my stylist call me back, but she did so on her day off, from home, with apologies galore, and regret that I'll be inconvenienced by coming in to get my last cut fixed. Yay! I am very impressed.

Now, if only I can get Iceland away from gekko........

Gekko, I am LOVING DoC and HETT mousse. Look at the back of my hair--we could be back of the head twins! Well, I am a little overconditioned today (Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier from Sunday OC'd my hair, and CHS Conditioner has too many oils and panthenol for me--between those two factors, I lost a lot of curl).

We really do have similar hair, maybe I will take that as reason to try the HETT mousse!

"Washed" with baking soda (1T to a tumbler of water)
combed through Garnier triple Nutrition, massaged scalp, left on 10 min.
Rinsed with ACV,(1 T to a tumbler of water) then water, scrunched in a tiny bit if KCCC, clipped the top, sat under the dryer 15 min. Shiny, defined waves, good clumping, no frizz, no crunch.

Today, I washed with Naked Naturals, conditioned with YTCukes, scrunched some YTCukes in, raked in Aloe Fix gel, scrunched in HETT, diffused, and called it a day.
