Gekko it looks great! Total hair envy right now.

Goober about the low poo after DT...have you tried to low poo and then DT? Do you wet your hair before you put your DT in? I never low poo but I wonder if you do before the DT then the DT might soak in better. I know getting in the shower 2x is a pain but IDK, just a thought. I have often gotten in the shower to wet my hair before a DT.

Today was a 2nd day hair kind of day for me. It was rainy and windy here all day, so I'm frizzy. Sad, because it actually looked kind of OK this morning.

I am a 2a/b, sometimes 2c on a really good day. I stopped straightening my hair in 1999 after a horrible salon straightening that left me with 1/3 less hair. I have followed a modified CG since 2005 when I read Lorraine Massey's book. I am in product flux right now after trying the Deva line. This line did not work for me. My curls nearly disappeared. I discovered this site and began reading product reviews. Since then I have been using Suave Naturals coconut as a cowash and and a rinse out. After reading some good reviews about Giovanni, I have purchased both the 50/50 condish and the sleek condish. I will be trying these over the next few days. I am loving reading this thread!

Put Aura cherry condish on my length then cowashed with Komaza almond cleansing condish. Used Aura as a LI then scrunched out some water and scrunched in Aura mallow root mousse. It's still really wet but I'll report back.

I straightened it for the first time since going CG. I can't lie - I really like it straight. I think I secretly wanted it to look terrible to remind me why I went CG.

Today used my SNBE products (shampoo and conditioner)..I LOVE those products!

Then used some Donna Marie Detangler/Condish as leave in (unbelievably I am almost out of my sampler!) and Mop C Curl Creme...it never fails me...great curls!

I did use some of the clips..they work so much better than the bobby pins. I can't believe I didn't use them before!

I decided to try my last routine except I co-washed w/ Suave Aloe and Waterlily plus a modified SS method. I don't know what it is I'm doing but its workin'! I had great definition and good spirals in some places. Had to post some pics! It looks a little frizzy but you get the idea.

I came across an almost full tub of Too Shea that I had put away during the summer when I found I needed more protein in my rinse-out than Too Shea provided.

I decided to give it another try, so I did a Spritz and Condish with it. I followed up with my standard LI, KCKT, and styled with BB FSG, topped with BRHG.

On a whim, I decided not to scrunch in my stylers this time. Instead, I smoothed and lightly raked them in, then shook my head to encourage the waves.

Now I'm sitting with clips while it air dries. It'll probably still be a bit damp when I pineapple and go to bed, so I won't know how it turns out until tomorrow.
