I co-washed with Suave Naturals (Strawberry) then conditioned with GFTN, used that as a leave in and then rake in a few drops of jojoba oil before finishing off with some Chi Infra Gel.

My hair seems to really like this jojoba oil. I have absolutely no frizz today.

I didn't have to work today, so it was 'experiment with my hair' day. I didn't wash last night because I wanted to see if I could get second-day hair (big fat NO). Then I decided to see if I could get wash-and-go hair, since I never have been able to before.

I used the Burt's Bees Shampoo bar, GFSS as my rinse out, and SN Coconut as my leave-in. I raked/scrunched in AG Re:Coil, and scrunched in two quarter-sized globs of L'Oreal Melting Gel (both upside down). Scrunched out some excess water with a t-shirt and then plopped for about 10 minutes. It has taken about four hours for my hair to dry roughly 75%, but I went ahead and SOTC and took pictures.

I'm not reeeeally happy with it - I think I could use a little more gel to combat frizz now that it's somewhat dry, but I'm pretending I'm out and about and don't have access to my gel at home. However, it looks far better for wash-and-go than my hair ever has before. I think I'm starting to finally see progress. I was tempted to try the KCCC instead of the Re:Coil, but that stuff adds hours to my drying time.

P.S. I apologize for horrible bathroom-light shadows in the pictures.

This is Paul Brown Goo w/a tiny bit of KCCC for hold. The Goo crunch definitely scrunches out. But it doesn't promote clumping as much as FSG, and contains glycerin, which is not my favorite thing. Leave in: Inecto.

Last night I discovered a twirl in my bangs! So I actually didn't comb at all since then...which led to product distribution issues (fixed for pics). I have a hard time getting products near my roots just scrunching up.

I tried 2nd day hair today. Raked in SSCEJ with a little water then plopped for 5 minutes. ICK! My top layer was stringy with completely straight hair underneath.

So to fix it I added tons of water like with the super soaker method then raked in SSCEF & SSFHG and topped with leave-in again. Plopped and needed to diffuse a bit before leaving for work. Not as nice as yesterday but not too shabby either.

I just got my CJ sample packs so tomorrow is experiment day!!

Ah, I hate cameras for the ten pounds they add, but I love them for the frizz they erase.

Thanks, though!

Today I used SS CEJ under KCCC. I wasn't sure that it would be enough hold, but ... it worked! Not the best of hair days, but definitely decent!

Cute! Good to know I'm not the only one KCCC has hold for...

Yeah, I didn't think that it did before, mostly because I was too scared to use it as a gel on its own after one negative experience.

I think part of it may be that my hair holds a curl easier now, too. I got crunch before, but still no hold. I'll have to keep experimenting. Maybe I don't need as much hold as I thought.

Default CVS thinks I'm 70

Wavy R I think your hair is gorgeous!
I did a PT and ACV rinse. Temps here are finally reasonable!! I pulled out my ecostyler and used it in the smasters/awesome hair method. Ecostyler bumps me up to 2 c when wet. I need to experiment more on how to use it. I hope the weather holds so I don't get frizz from the glycerin tomorrow.

CVS thinks I'm 70. I bought pillow rollers and clips a while ago to use for retro hair. Today when I bought some stuff the CVS cash register spit out a coupon for pollident!

Default no products

I did a rinse out, ended my shower with an ACV rinse. No product today, and not too frizzy. My avatar is my hair today

I'm experimenting with CJ today because I just got the sample packs and I want to buy something from the curlmart sale before the weekend is over.

My scalp was soooo itchy because I tried for 2nd day hair yesterday so I needed a low-poo this morning. I tried CJGCS (no good, still felt producty and I didn't like the smell), then JCHCC (usually works but my hair still felt producty) so I used MopC shampoo.

Conditioned with CJCR, rinsed then raked & scrunched in CIAB. My hair was a little damp when I went outside and it was pretty windy. I think if I let my hair dry properly this stuff could definitely have some potential.

Super cute!!! When I get my SS CEJ I might have to try that combo! Did you air dry or diffuse?

DM Curling Gelly with a dab of KCCC for hold. The back looks exactly like yesterday's. It's beginning to look like the winner of my sampling spree is FSG w/KCCC. How.... anticlimactic.

Slightly off topic: just learned that I have some of the hardest water there is (should've known--the lever thing on my shower drain looked like it came from a shipwreck). The plumber installed my filter, but didn't have high hopes for it.

I've been way too lazy to diffuse, so I air-dry pretty exclusively now. I should try diffusing again, but I get impatient and end up scrunching or moving around too much, which leads to evil, evil frizz.

As an aside, this combo worked as 2nd day hair without any extra product added at all. I just spritzed and scrunched, and went on with my day.
