Used CJ Daily Fix Cleansing Co for the first time and LOVED IT. I have never really liked co-washing until now. My hair felt so good after trying this product--can't wait to try it again.

I also used Pink Boots for the first time. It went on really nice, but I'm not sure about the results. I may try it again with Simple Aloe Jelly underneath.

And, to complicate things, I got a hair cut the other day, so I'm trying to figure out how to style the new 'do. (See my posts in the General forum about mini bangs and the stacked bob back--help!)

you look very pretty solidgold

low poo- burt's bees pomegranite soy shampoo
rinse out- GVP CB conditioner
leave in- GF S&S conditioner cream
i also put some homemade FSG and scrunched in a little HETT.

i think i need to do an over night DT to make up for the straw-like feeling i have in my hair from the burt's bees.

Your hair looks great, Solidgold!

Today I cowashed with SN green apple, GFSS condish. Terax LI, re:coil, and BRHG on top. It looked really promising and my hair was way wavier than it normally would be...it usually loses a lot of it's wave as it's drying, but then I had to SOTC before it was dry so the front looked a bit weird. The back looks good, though!

So far I like the BRHG. I am going to try again tomorrow and this time let it dry all the way.

The color is off in the photo, the flash wasn't working so I had to enhance so you could even see my it.

condish
Tressa
neutral protein filler/Inecto
more inecto/KCKT sample
*brushed* (yes, I know, I'm sorry)
FSG
butter
more FSG
diffused on no heat
shook it around a lot so that it would move

Results: softest curl yet, no frizz, with clean, not-too-dry looking roots. Now I wonder which of the 20,000 things I used/did is responsible....

I plan to cassia this week, to get a bit more gold in the roots.

I tried "spritz and condish" tonight, minus the upside-down stuff. I used Lloyd's Saltspring Organics Citrus Squeeze conditioner, let it sit on my dampened hair for a bit..15-20 minutes I think. In the shower I used my diluted Blonde shampoo on my root/scalp area and followed up with more conditioner which I let sit on my head while I did other shower stuff.

Out of the shower I used Purology Curl Creme...I haven't been using it because of the silicones in it, but I just learned that my Biolage Defining Elixir has a silicone in it after all...so, if I am going to use that up til it's gone, and I still have sulfate poos, I might as well use the curl creme too. I'll just have to prolong going full CG a little bit longer, til I replace my stuff with CG products (other than my conditioners).

I can't recall how long I plopped, but possibly a little too long as I had a little frizz on top and at the crown. I'm still wet, but hoping that my hair will be dry by bedtime. I washed about 6pm, it is 9pm, and I still feel at least 50% wet or more. Not sure if the drying time will be reduced by using the "spritz and condish" method or not. It's possibly the curl creme could be holding in water.

Anyhow, we'll see how it is when it dries.

ETA: It it almost 11pm here, and the top of my hair is dry, the front/sides are mostly dry, but the back is still wet...I'm guessing 30-40% wet still. I think my hair is drying somewhat faster, but I do seem to have more frizz than the last time I air dried. I had more definition last time, and less frizz for sure. Wonder if it was the protein treatment, or the lemon juice and conditioner rinse/co-wash I did when I first began getting the treatment out.

I should also mention that I did try to clip, but I think I just suck at that and I took them out, so here's hoping I have enough root volume. I think the frizz might also be from my scrunching that area to encourage waves and curls.

Default Great hair day!

Used a kathymack soap bar followed by the Tresemme Volumizing natural condish w/o silicones then an ACV.

Left in about a dime sized of Hairveda MCPro and then used DB Natural Coils Curling Jelly and Abba Gel.

When hair was about 30% diffused dry (pixie curl) I used about a nickel sized FHG scrunched in.

Excellent super TIGHT curls, some body, and overall great hair today! Back is less curly than usual but I could care less..the front is great!

AJJ, the back of your hair is so cute in the above pic!

I took a picture of the back of my head last night (post hair cut) and I thought, I look like AJJ in her avatar!

Thx, ladies! Gek, I say go for the bangs. Have you tried a faux bang to see if you like it first?

Solid - I am going to get a bob cut tonight - no bangs and not stacked though. When I wore my hair straight I always did the stacked bob because it layed nicer, but now I am worried that I would have NO wave back there if I did it. So right now I am just going for a bob with long layers, maybe a few longer peices up front.

Anywho...My hair has been driving my nuts! I'm getting it cut tonight and will post afterwards.

Today was new product day! I used Hairveda Amala shampoo and conditioner. I really like these, smellled good, conditioner left my hair squicky and not squeaky. Always a good thing. Then I put some of the Amala conditioner in as a leave in and followed with FSG/HETT.

I can't wait to see pics, that sounds along the same lines of the cut I was thinking. I can't do a stacked bob either, I did it a couple years ago and the front of my hair was all curly and the back barely had a wave. Not good.

SG, currently I have some face framing layers masquerading as "bangs", but I think I want more of a real bang. I haven't gotten my haircut since last fall, so I will have to have a long chat with my stylist about what she thinks will work for me.

Raise your hand if you think that gekko is just re-posting the same pic over and over.

Today I cleansed with CJDF, used CCClite as a leave-in then topped with CEJ & FHG. This is the best hair day I've had in a while!
