I know, right? It might be all the straightening I've done this winter. I better start praying to the Goddess of the Coiling Way. Rescheduled for next Thursday and at least my mom got to take my appointment so it wasn't a total loss.

I don't know if it was in your sig before, but when I saw, "Goddess of the Coiling Way" I was like, Oooh Jess needs to put that in her SIG! Because I did remember that Jess was a High Priestess. Then I look down and its already there. hah.

I added it the other day. Like it? I've been reading R. A. Salvarore's Drizzt books, the Dark Elf books (yes they are D&D books but I knew YOU'D understand my nerdiness) and I knew I needed to be a high priestess

OooOoh yes! I know exactly lol! I STILL need to read those. My friend got me the series, and I know quite a bit of the lore behind them, and I still haven't finished them. I'm such a bad geek.

I read the first 3 in less than 2 weeks. I'm now on book 5. They are really good. SO has been trying to get me to read them for 3 years but I kept putting it off because I was afraid it'd be a little too D&D for me. NOT AT ALL!!! I couldn't put them down. You must read them. BTW did you get FF 13?

Ok. Done with the guano now. I spritzed a little, and added a little LA Looks Sport Gel (maybe a nickel to a quarter all things considered?). Here's the day's pic, after work and on my deck.

Today MY HAIRDRYER BROKE!!!!! arrrghhhhh!!!!
so i am air drying. I have never really airdryed my hair, i am far to impatient and hate going about with wet hair but alad her i am a head full of gelled wet hair at least the dryer is still under warranty and i might be able to get in fixed or replaced.

Today I used:
CF condish (rinse out and leave in)
Spiral Solutions CEJ
GF Endurance Gel
SOTC with CJ CCCC

Hair is not dry yet but so fair it looks ok. Looser than when i diffuse but hey...im giving my hair a break right? I think i might just use this opportunity to try airdrying...of if all else fails get praticing my updos instead lmao

I did what I always tell people not to do, I tried a bunch of new stuff in my hair all in the same day and while the back looks great, I have all kinds of weirdness going on in the front. Hmph. In the interest of full disclosure, I did take a picture showing the front of my hair, but it isn't pretty so I decided not to post it.

I washed with JC's gentle cleansing shampoo (I might have the name wrong), conditioned (rinse out and leave in) with Darcy's Botanicals pumpkin conditioner, then followed that with CIAB and HETT.

Wow, your hair looks perfect in those pictures Rona!! Perfect clumps, great shine and beautiful even curls!!

Today I was actually planning to put my hair up because it is rainy and I had to run errands. I still styled my hair anyway just to see how it would turn out with products that I haven't used in a while.

I cleansed with CJDF, used GFTN as a rinse-out, Suave naturals as a leave-in and raked in HETT. I couldn't find my brush or comb this morning so I just raked everything in.

Wow, I'm loving the results! Needless to say, I decided to wear my hair down after all!!

Thanks! I can't believe I paid money to have my hair curled exactly like this for my wedding. I had no idea my hair would do this on its own.

Your hair looks fantastic. I can totally see why you left it down today!

I learned my lesson yesterday about trying too much stuff. So...I put coconut oil in my hair. Then I did a DT with shea butter, olive oil, vitamin e oil, and LOOC that had been frozen and unthawed. I just wanted to see if I could salvage it for some use. Nope, now in trash. I low pooed for the second time ever. I actually think my hair may be in better condition. It is hard to say for sure since I didn't fix it curly. I fixed my hair in 20's waves, my new avatar.

You're sweet, but today was a total loss. My hair is now a huge shapeless mass, I think it's the CIAB. I think I had tried it before with no luck, now today, so it's definitely off my list!!!

Your 20's look is absolutely fabulous! And yup, too much stuff in one day totally sinks my hair.

Building on yesterday's simple is betterer LOL day, I washed with CJ Daily Fix and raked through SS CEJ. I started to air dry but got bored with it and decided to diffuse on high. Then combed out. Because we have 75% humidity today I ended up with wavy and little curlettes on the ends. Not bad - but not what I intended to end up with. (The best laid plans kind of a thing.)

So now that I know I can always have waves no matter what I do I'm going to try to perfect the more "curly" look. (Which takes way more mucking with my hair or not depending on product/technique used)

And since I'm rambling here I have noticed one thing about SS CEJ is that it seems to really thicken my hair. I love that!

And that's it for today!
