So 2's what did you do to your hair today?

Like Tree296Likes

Building on yesterday's simple is betterer LOL day, I washed with CJ Daily Fix and raked through SS CEJ. I started to air dry but got bored with it and decided to diffuse on high. Then combed out. Because we have 75% humidity today I ended up with wavy and little curlettes on the ends. Not bad - but not what I intended to end up with. (The best laid plans kind of a thing.)

So now that I know I can always have waves no matter what I do I'm going to try to perfect the more "curly" look. (Which takes way more mucking with my hair or not depending on product/technique used)

And since I'm rambling here I have noticed one thing about SS CEJ is that it seems to really thicken my hair. I love that!

And that's it for today!

Got my hair cut, finally at the shoulders. Then after a nap (work nights), showered, pre-co, no-poo, co. Tomorrow I get to try AOWC!

At the salon I got Regis DesignLine Olive Oil leave in conditioner. Absolutely loved the smell, not sure if I like the stickiness or not but DSD needs something anyway.

Used the leave-in, then AnGel, scrunch.

I'm not too fond of AnGel or the Tressemme I may be going back to Fx Special Effects Curls Up Curl Reactivator.

Since I have to wear my hear back for my weekend job, I experimented a little last night. Did the usual co-wash with SN Apple, conditioned with GFSS and leave-in GFTN Icequeen style. Then I broke up the clumps on the back of my crown to try to get rid of this stupid part that has developed on the back of my head. Scrunched in Re:Coil and HESMU. Plopped for 3-4 hours and went to bed.

Hair looked pretty nice this morning. Not the big clumps I have been getting lately, but smaller spirals mixed with waves. However, No More Icequeen when I have to pull my hair back the next morning!!! My hair was dead-set on going forward because of the way it dried and it was very difficult to make it change directions to pull back. But I do have a nice bushy ponytail, even if the top looks a little crazy.

Gorgeous hair, Rona!!!!

I think I am over proteining my hair, it feels not so happy these days. I conditioned with MCPro, then followed up with AOMM/HETT. Tomorrow, I think I will try the Darcy's pumpkin conditioner. Does that have protein?

Major breakthough today....and I know y'all are laughing hystericallly because these pics look the same as every other day. But a couple of things happened:

1. Gekko's thread on do you love your hair. Reading through it a brought much needed missing persepctive.

2. Goobernut's comment on just not having hag hair. So true and cracks me up every time I think of it.

3. A lovely SS protein treatment, followed by SS deep moisture, and SS CEJ. Raked in and plopped in a towel. Air dried.

I finally got it! My hair hasn't changed.......I have. Oh Happy Day! And thanks to all the wonderful 2 board people, you rock!

As for my routine ... I just rinsed in the shower, am plopping, and I'm trying to decide what to use. I left my Ecostyler at the gym at work (catastrophe! they're not open on weekends!) so I'm having a hair crisis. It'll probably be SS CEJ and KCCC. I'll be getting a smaller tub of Ecostyler this weekend for the gym so this doesn't happen again!

So I'm having an interesting hair day.

I used my SNBE Poo then did a Nexxus Emergencee protein in the shower then the B2B Curl conditioner.

Used CJ BCLI + Redken Soft Spin 05 + Abba Pure Finish Gel. I used about a grape sized (large) of the Redken..last time I used a pea sized and it did nothing.

I've got ringlet's all over and its very curly!

I like it!

Post up your results!! I'm curious. I used the DB NCCJ this week on Wednesday and got lots of compliments on it..its always a winner for me and I love the smell!

If it falls a bit try a gel over it..your HETT should work fine.

i have to wake up for work at 5, and i woke up at 4am instead. couldn't go back to sleep either(i was really annoyed.) so i figured, why not do a protein treatment while reading for class?

pt- nexxus emergencee
low poo- mop c hydrating shampoo
dt/rinse out- GTFN

i had a layer of frizz on the top of my hair, but it was one of those days where the sh*t hit the fan, and i was running around crazy, so some of it might be due to that.
2b/c, med./coarse texture, med./high density & mod. porous http://public.fotki.com/wavyR/
LOVE tresemme naturals, suave pomegranate, ecostyler, HESMU, BRHG, KCCC, CIAB, CCCClite, KY Jelly & JCN&S.
HATE soy protein.

Alex - so pretty!
kmd - I envy the consistency of your waves!

This is me on FSG w/Seamollient (new). Post cassia. I think I need a bit more red on my roots still to blend with the previous henna. Still mulling this. (Always mulling this. The color I want is close to my natural color, but ever so slightly redder.)

I added KCCC later when it looked like it might droop. But the Seamollient added a lot more moisture retention. They say KCCC takes forever to dry; it doesn't for me, but the FSG w/Seamollient did. Also KCCC seems to be the only thing for me that provides hold. I am puzzled by my hair.

FIA 2a-c, ii.
Combo. fine/low porosity & coarse/porous.
Stylers: All-in-one spray, FSG, KCCC
Also using: Inecto condish, WW Tiare Pomade
Dislikes: soap bars, glycerin, protein.
Yawns at: all gels (even LALSG), Seamollient.

Today I cleansed with CJDF, used LVPNG as a rinse-out and JCADC as a leave-in. When going through my cabinet today I found KCCC, which I had almost forgotten about. I raked a little in then topped with FHG.
