I smoothed a little CCCClite over the canopy and resisted the urge to scrunch more. I think a lot of my surface frizz issues are from constantly scrunching throughout the day.

My hair is a little crunchier than I would like but I have frizz-free, clumpy curls!!
The Eco probably made it crunchier than normal. It's supposed to be a 10 on the hold scale. I'm glad you liked the combo.

BTW, how about this crazy weather? 80-90's all week then 50's today...CRAZY!

Today was a curl junkie day. I cleansed with Daily Fix & conditioned with Curl Rehab. After having so much crunch today, I decided to use CIAB alone. I raked it and scrunched in sections. Then I scrunched a little more and plopped for an hour. I let it air dry and it's finally dry after 8 hours. I like the results: soft, clumpy curls!

Today I got a cut and color (and a terrible styling job). So when I got back, I wet it, scrunched in some of my sample of CIAB, then put LALSG over it and plopped for about 20 minutes, then used the T-shirt to get the rest of the excess water out. I'm currently waiting on it to dry fully, but it looks pretty good.

I cowashed with Suave coconut, followed by rinse out with Tresemme Naturals More Moisture. After additional rinsing, I put in about a nickel-sized amount of Tresemme as my LI, raking and scrunching. Then I scrunched in Curls Creme Brule (don't know how my hair will like it long-term but I LOVE the smell!), and mixed Curls Goddess Gel and Ecostyler Krystal in my hands for a gel on top. Today's experiment was to see what would happen if I mixed Ecostyler with Curls products. They seem to work well together. My hair is soft, smooth, and lacking in frizz. However, I am sad to see that I basically have a tradeoff between tightness of curls and amount of frizz. I will play around more with product combos.

In other news, I have decided that I will not be repurchasing BRHG. I don't hate it, I just don't think it's all that special...

I cowashed with Burt's Bees Pomegranate and Soy conditioner, then put in KCKT and KCCC. I was worried about using too much KCCC, since this was my first time. I think I ended up using only a couple of pea-sized amounts.

I may have found my holy grail! My hair is soft and curlier than usual, with no frizz. Yahoo!

Didn't want to wash or really fully wet my hair today, b/c I just had it colored yesterday, so I used some of my sample of CCC lite and scrunched it into dry hair, then added just a little bit of water over the top and scrunched.

Verdict? I <3 Curl Junkie. I love Daily Fix, adore CIAB, and have found a really good refresher in CCC lite that doesn't make me get my hair more than just barely damp.

Pics are right after adding water.

I hadn't "done" anything with my hair for three or four days, last time I "washed" with Alaffia shea& virgin coconut enriching shampoo for curly hair, conditioned with GFTN, Alaffia hair lotion as a leave in, Fantasia IC gel, scrunched with polarfleece gloves, dried under the dryer.
Second, third, fourth days I misted, scrunched in some FOTEAVG, air dryed.

Today I washed with Christophe Purely Natural Daily Shampoo, did a Queen Helene Jojoba Hot Oil Treatment, rinsed out and scrunched in Fantasia IC Gel,
scrunched with the gloves, dried under the dryer.
My hair has more volume today, and about the same amount of curl, shine, clumping, etc. as the last time i washed.

Today I used kathymack soap bar, Darcy Botanicals Pumpkin Seed conditioner, SS Protein Spray, SS CEJ and SS FHG mixed with a fair amount of BRHG. I diffused like normal. I really like how my hair turned out. I was thinking the Pumpkin Seed condish would be too heavy for me, but it turned out to work really well. I am also very thankful my hair chose today to behave as I have a cocktail party to head to in about an hour!

How have you used the CIAB? I'm still experimenting with it.

I low-poo washed with the Burts Bees stuff and Suave lavender conditioner mixed with the coconut conditioner, which is too slippery for me to use by itself. Combed it and did lots of scrunching with a T shirt. No plopping today.
Mixed HE curl gel with some aloe vera gel (the sunburn kind - just experimenting/trying to use it up before I buy a new bottle!) and scrunched with the T some more. Then a little bit of Marc Anthony Curl Defining Lotion and air dried awhile before diffusing. The front part has been wanting to curl straight into my eyes lately, so I threw on my headband after everything was dry.

I snapped a picture but I'm not sure how to add in pics - can anyone help me with that? I am trying to click add image, but I don't have a URL - it's saved on my computer! I need a tech rescue...

All weekend I used the SS CEJ under KMF UM. I am about to run our of UM so I need to get some ASAP!

I did a PT and DT yesterday morning, but I don't think I left my DT on long enough because it felt a little dry...

I had pretty good hair all weekend though .

I'm getting my hair trimmed and colored tomorrow. I can't believe it's been 5 weeks since I got it cut, it has grown a lot. The color is just to cover the lightening the sun is doing I like my hair DARK (which it naturally is) but the sun gives it a redish hue when it lightens it.

The pictures are from today.

Dark,

I use the CIAB either in place of a leave-in, or with a very small (nickel-sized, instead of quarter-sized) amount of leave-in, and like I would a curl-enhancer, and under a hard-hold gel. Today, for instance, I used about three nickel-sized globs and scrunched it into my hair in sections over a nickel-size of leave-in (I was worried about frizz, after the new color). I then layered my normal amt (about 2 half-dollar sized globs) of LALSG over that, plopped, and let it air dry.

I'm at school, so I can't take a picture really, but it's completely frizz free, shiny and super wavy. I'll take a pic when I get home tonight, so you can see.

ETA: I probably use more than you would have to, since my hair is higher porosity than yours, I think. I have found that scrunching in sections into hair that's NOT soaking wet has given me the best results with it.

I used CJDF to cleanse and CJBCDC as a rinse-out. I layered CCCClite and SSCEJ, raking then scrunching in sections again. I plopped for 30 minutes and let it air-dry. It only took 6 hours to dry and I'm very happy with my hair today!!

Last night I attempted to airdry and scrunched in a little Seamollient. This might've worked if I could've let it airdry all the way without sleeping on it, but I needed to go to bed, so I pineappled and it came out awful. Then I brushed it out --> worse. Here is something I've learned about my hair: never brush out waves until 100% dry (it was still damp and mushy this morning). It leads to a stiff, gunky feeling and hair that looks badly straightened. Rewashed, brushed: fluffy, a bit unkempt, but slightly better than before.

I'm beginning to think I really need to stick to airdrying with no products. And no touching til it's done.

Dark, an end of the day photo for you. Still frizz-free, though if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have added leave-in under the CIAB. I thought it would be a good idea at the time, but I'm feeling a little limp, and the back is straight-ish. It's really only at the end of the day that it's been a problem, though.

Still looks nice! I think I tried it like this the first time, but may not have used enough. I'll have to try again.

I just got my box full of SS products. I got another bottle of the CEJ, and also got the PT, FHG & Spray

Oooo. Let me know how you like the spray! I held off this time, because I spent a ton on other random spring/summer products that I wanted to try.
