So 2's what did you do to your hair today?

Like Tree296Likes

I co-washed with SN Coconut - then applied SAJ and KMF UM to dripping wet hair. Scrunched with a flour sack towel and then diffused to, I guess, 80-90% dry (how can you tell if your hair is crunchy?).

SOTC the crunch about 30 minutes later before leaving the house.

I love it! I may SOTC with SN Aloe & Water Lily instead of just bare hands next time to add some softness.

They are not the best pictures, but I am very happy with it today

Gorgeous hair, Dark Waves!

I water washed last night and scrunched in some HETT that I had in the back of the cabinet. My hair has been falling very limp and loose lately. (I just feel like ripping it out)
I'm thinking maybe I'm over conditioned, so I am backing off the conditioner.

Tools: Silk pillowcase, Floursack towels, Jersey T-Shirts, Wide Tooth Comb, Velecta Paramount TGR-VQX Hair Dryer (for when I straighten) and BaByliss PRO Ionic Rollabout Hard Hat Dryer
So I finally used my samples of CCCC-lite and CIAB from Kathymack. Oh...my...gah. Loving this combo. I used GDLI under the CCCC-lite and HESMU over the CIAB. I seriously was hoping I would hate it simply because I don't have the $$ to spend on the full amount! Maybe a Mother's Day gift?? Who knows.

Lovely! I get my CCCC lite tomorrow! As well as the Daily Fix cleansing condish. I can't WAIT to use them....

wow, everyone's hair is looking ever so lovely!

I used Redkin soft spin 05 and Ion alcohol free hair spray. I used the hair spray one damp hair, not doing that again! I love the gel though, and the hair spray, but on dry hair. I'll have to get a pic of it.

My hair loves protein, plopping, and diffusing! Trying to find a way to style and air dry.
I used CJ DF followed by GFTN as a quick rinse out - I didn't let it sit at all. My hair has been in need of moisture and it felt great after I got out of the shower today.

Then I ruined it by trying something new...CIAB under LALSG and diffused. My hair is very soft, shiny, and bouncy - but the clumps are WAY too small. Maybe I didn't leave enough water in my hair before I applied my products. I'll try it again, but on a weekend.

I straightened my hair yesterday (dampened it, applied heat protectent, lots of sectioning, three passes on each piece and hairspray after I was finished, followed by combing) so I did a deep treatment last night.
I didn't use a specific recipe. I just added things.
I mashed half an avocado and added some orange pekoe and pekoe black tea to make it a thinner consistency. Then I added some mayonnaise and honey (I didn't measure). I got my hair wet and squeezed the excess water out. I applied the mixture and put a shower cap on and a towel over that. I then proceeded to watch several episodes of "24" with my family, so I left it on a good almost two hours longer than I intended on. I rinsed it out and shampooed then did an ACV rinse with honey in it.

All I can say is wow! It must have needed that because it bounced right up!! Although it is a bit greasy because I left it on too long.
Pictures later.

I used Curls for Target Creamy Curl Cleanser and Coconut Curlada Conditioner in the shower. Out of the shower I used a t-shirt to squeeze some water out and then used SSCEJ and SSFHG, but I applied them a bit differently than I usually do. I actually combed my hair out of the shower and sectioned off my hair (leaving the bottom loose and the top clipped to start), then I added a bit of the CEJ and raked it in, followed by FGH the same way. I tried the rake and shake thing, then I scrunched. I did this all over my head in sections, let my hair air dry a little, then diffused a little. I had to diffuse in batches as I'm in a hotel right now in Seattle and the diffuser attachment doesn't really fit the dryer, so I improvised and held the dryer so I could hold the attachment as well. That worked well enough until it got to hot to hold. I'm mostly dry and can finish SOTC soon. I don't know how it will all turn out...I think maybe thinner and stringier curls rather than thicker and clumpier waves. I don't think it will be bad. We'll see when it's all dry.

I did take a few pics with DH iPhone, but the wireless in the room isn't working right now (I'm in the Business Center atm). I'll try to update with them if I can, assuming he doesn't erase them first.

Cheers all!

After I started to SOTC realizing that only part of my hair was really dry enough to, so I only did the front. Sorry my head's a bit cut off.

Posted this in a sep thread, but here it is again, this time more for my hair rather than who I'm with in the pic.

Best 2nd day hair I've had in awhile thanks to my combo yesterday. I'm happy and frustrated!

Had a really decent hair day today and changed my siggie to reflect it!!!

Today I used CJ H&BDT, rinsed, CJCALI, CJCASJ, and topped with LALSG. Plopped a bit, clippied and diffused. SOTC with KCSS. OMG It stayed ALL DAY and I got so many complements! It wasn't producty feeling either. I did have a little surface frizz but nothing I couldn't deal with....the CJCASDC will take care of that.

I'm having a yucky hair day. Yesterday I washed with CJDF, followed by a little SSRPT as a leave-in, CJCCCC lite, and SSFHG. Halfway thru diffusing I added just a touch of Ecostyler because it seemed too soft and limp. Well, I think that was my downfall. It ended up doing pretty good yesterday, but today I decided to try using some CJCCCC lite to refresh, and it didn't play well with something about yesterday's combo, probably the Ecostyler.

I couldn't it scrunch out and could barely break it up w/my claw-shaped pick/rake thingie. By the time I did, it was just a mess, and I ended up just putting it up.

I still want to try the CJCCCC lite as a refresher when I don't already have a gel like that on my hair. I think it might be OK over just the SSFHG.

Perhaps this is blasphemous, but I've been combing my hair out straight when it's wet for the past four days, and then wearing it in a ponytail. We're in the depths of finals here, and I just didn't want to worry about my hair. I haven't been using any heat, and I've been using a wide-toothed comb or my fingers to comb it straight. And, of course, I've been doing my normal conditioning/cleansing routine. Just no curly styling.

Today was a decent hair day until the wind got ahold of me. GRR.....

Washed with CJDF (YAY I LOVE THIS) in the shower, then a mix of CJDF protein condish and CJ Smoothing, rinse, squeeze out some of the water, CCCC Lite topped with KMS Firm hold gel. Plop, clip, diffuse. It was good, again until the wind blew me around.

I got the curls for target line to try next!

Today's hair.....

I tried the CURLS for target line, and promptly had to rewash. It gave me a huge headache and stomachache and made me itch from the fragrance. So no CURLS for me.

So when I rewashed I did CJDFCC (HG!) and followed with CJH&BDT (another HG). Rinsed, DOC (I had a sample of this for a long time but never tried due to the lavendar in it as I'm sensitive, but did a patch test the other day for 24 hours and no reaction) with no LI because I knew it'd be moisturizing enough on it's own, topped off with LALCG (LA Looks Curls Gel). Scrunched out the moisture with a flour sack, plopped, clippied, and diffused. SOTC (there wasn't much though) with KCGP and WOW.....this is a combo I'm going to have to do again! It held up under the wind, is very soft, still wurly with great hold, but isn't crunchy or producty at all! THIS is how I have wanted my hair to be all along!

Here's a few pics....

I have been experimenting with co-washing again since my hair seemed to be a little dry. I am going to do one week with SN Coconut, then one week with CJDF to see if my hair likes one over the other.

Today I used SN Coconut as a co-wash, then a very small amount of GFTN left on for about 1 minute. Once out of the shower I scrunched in my LI (SN Aloe and Water Lily). The I scrunched in SAJ and KMF UM. Scrunched with a flour sack towel and then diffused to about 75% (maybe?).

I had AMAZING enhancement, but a TON of frizz . It looked fine until I SOTC. It looks good now - hardly any frizz, soft and still very defined - but I need to know how to have no frizz at the beginning of my day...

I just used Lloyd's Saltspring Island Organics lo poo since I've been using the Curls for Target creamy curl cleanser the last few washes and thought it was time to do a more clarifying/cleansing wash. Followed up with SS Caitlin's Conditioner...man this stuff smells awesome. It feels good too. Raked in some SS CEJ and scrunched, then scrunched in some SS FHG, then mixed a little CEJ and FHG and scrunched that in. Decided not to plop since I moved my part over slightly and I like how this looks and don't want to disturb it too much. I'd diffuse now, but I have a guest on my couch right now, and my DH is also still asleep. I am leaving in 40 minutes or so, so I know my hair will be fairly wet. I'm hoping the wind won't totally mess it up.

The whole line. The only thing that didn't make me feel yucky was the goddess glaze. The pics are from my rewash though....
