Confession time!

I'm lazy so its poo. There is no way I'm going to be grammatically correct about my ...poo.

-I use cones sometimes. Honestly, my hair looks the same no matter what I use in it.
-I diffuse daily. I need volume, big hair is sexy!
-I occassionally straighten my hair. I also occassionally use a blowdrying technique, with a round brush, to get beautiful, even curls. Check out Chaz Dean's website for how to do it, its awesome! No crunch, volume is amazing, soft, flowing curls=love.
-I love the way No-Poo smells so much, I sometimes leave it on my hair for my entire shower. I also do this when I cowash with V05 Vanilla Mint. They're yummy.
-Every once in awhile, I use hairspray. I have a hairspray from Eufora that smells like candy, and works great. We all need extra hold sometimes. Since my hair is so short, if I wear it up, I need hairspray or it will turn into a hot mess.
-I use rubberbands when I pull my hair up. I don't think this is addressed in the CG book, but I'm sure it's frowned upon. I do put coconut oil in my hair before using them though, they slip out easier this way, with little to no breakage.

I'm sure I could confess more, but I can't think of much right now.

Everytime I read an article that explains that sulfates aren't so bad, or silicones are good for your hair in one way or another, I have to literally remind myself that I don't subscribe to that theory. Everyone else shampoo's, why can't I? That sort of thing..

I use regular, drugstore haircolor, and the conditioner that comes with it afterward.
I'm such a rule follower that I do not intentionally break any CG "rules." There was the accidental sulfate or silicone early on, but nothing lately.

My biggest CG oops was the first time I tried coconut oil. I didn't know much to use, so I saturated my hair with it. I had greasy looking hair (with really well-formed curls) for three days. I had to use dish soap, lemon juice, and ACV to get it out.
Loose botticelli curls and waves
No silicones/no sulfates since March 2008
1. I always brush my hair before showering.

2. I low poo every single day.

3. I diffuse my hair every single day with high heat (somehow the higher temps. improve my curl pattern and retention)

4. I use a wide toothed hair pick to gently comb through my hair after diffusing, to give more volume to my 'do.

5. I am a hairspray addict. It it my best styler and I will never part with it. I wish I could, but I just can't.

6. I believe I have become addicted to this website!!!
my hair:
2a/b, fine-haired but lots of it, highlighted on top/front, shoulder length, trying to balance out frizziness versus flatness.

products I use:
low poo - Live Clean Wave Enhancing or Giovanni 50:50
conditioner - LaCoupe Colour Rescue, Joico KPak for protein deep treat once/wk
styling - AG Recoil, HESMU gel, Loreal Studio Architect Wax, Tresemme tres two hairspray

hmm lets seee....

1. I still straighten my hair about 1 or 2 times a month

2. I hate the top layer of my curls so much i often touch them up with a curling iron

3. sometimes i just throw whatever i have around on my hair

4. If my hair looks bad it ruins my self esteem and i feel bad for the rest of the day

5. I sometimes backcomb all my hair into a whole faux mohawk thing with a lot of hairspray
I straightened tonight and used a sulfate poo. My hair doesn't look good straight. I think i need to cut it.
Plus i lo poo'ed like 4 times this week.
wait, why no hairspray???
Anyways, on to the confession time.
*I lo-poo every day.
*I straighten....a lot. I look good with straight hair! But I do use like, 3 heat protectors, and they all use modified cones, so I can wash them out with my lo-poo
*I bleached out a chunk of my hair. And then turned it royal blue.
*Every so often I use a sulfate shampoo. I still have half a liter of Redken Fresh Curls, and my hair feels reeeeaaallllyyy nice after I use it.
*I don't DT or PT....ever. I did use a little bit of a DT after I bleached, I guess....but still. I'm not very nice to my hair....which may be why I don't have the wurls I want. Oh well.

I'm not promising I haven't missed a cone or two (I'm not an expert at these things, ya know) but if you low-poo it shouldn't be an issue.

I don't DT. If it can't do what it needs to do while I shower, then I'm not going to use it.
