My hair sucks today

Made the mistake of using CK today-not nearly wet enough outside for it.

I do, however, have one very persistent ringlet in the very back of my head.

So.

There is hope, I just have to figure out how to duplicate it. I'm pretty sure highlighting is going to have to go away, and maybe dye jobs for bit. A little length, and I think I'll be a bona fide curly.

Just had to share with folks that understand.

I totally understand! I'm a recovering highlighter heh. I can actually see the stronger curl pattern with my hair that's growing out.

I've NEVER been able to get CK to work. But you know, I've always used it with the Slip detangler. I could be blaming Slip's failure on the CK. I'll have to try CK with a different leave in.

Erm, yes and no.
Aloe barbadensis(?) is just aloe vera-its clear and slippery like CK, but I don't consider AVG to be the same as CK.

Maybe a lesser version, but CK is, to me, very runny, very slippery, very 'wet', and AVG products (the one that comes to mind besides FOTE is sallys cheap AVG gel) are a 'drier' sort of gel. It's almost as if its the difference between oil and water-CK isn't oil, of course, but it has the same slippery feel to me.

Does that make any sense at all?
