feel so bad for straightening!

As u know I got a bad haircut a couple weeks ago, so I have been straightening it. Well the other day I decide to let it go all natural and it was so DRY!!! I feel so bad, what did I do to my hair So for now on it's going to be curly-even if I don't like the cut, it will grow back. i think why I don't like it is because it's not blending and she cut too much for bangs(have long side swept ones). And after seeing all your guys pretty pics of you hair and the cute styles I felt miserable for straightening.
If you've been using a flat iron, I'd do a PT and a DT (if your hair will handle protein). The protein helps do a temporary fix for the damage that the flat iron does, and the DT adds more moisture after the PT for balance, and helps restore the moisture the heat makes you lose.

Sometimes I do the DT first, and see if I need a PT -- just depends on how my waves look.

I second the DT and PT advice, that has really helped mine from all the straightening damage. Find a good heat protector too if you continue to straighten.

DT- I like Jessicurl weekly deep condish and Donna Marie's DT, cheaper option- Lustrasilk shea/mango DT at sally's. Paying a little extra for a good DT is worth it IMO.

+1 on Lustrasilk. I just picked some up, and I luuuurve it.

My hair does't like a ton of protein, so I use the KPak daily condish for protein. I can't use anything with mineral oil, so the KPak treatment is a no no for me.
