Ondulee, still, that's nice hair. I mean I can see the uneveness, but only because I'm a kindred curly/wavy. That's pretty fab for naked.

Okay, fully dry. Bare naked. I did touch it a bit, but you see how fly-away it is? Thank goodness for product! Got runner's stuff (emollience and Curl Enhancing Jelly) in today's mail. I'm going get product-y!!!
this is a side/rear shot:

Don't mind the crazy hair cut. I haven't been to a professional in awhile. My sister gave me a cut awhile ago. After it had grown out some, I gave it a shower chop to take off the length. I think I need to make a call now.

It's still a little damp, but here's my naked hair (note: I did scrunch a little out of the shower, but no product).
ETA: And here's a pic of my hair a few hours later, completely dry and at its full poufy glory. Still naked.

Here's mine. Water washed only and left alone to air dry. I haven't done this since my first day before CG and I can't believe how improved it is!

Wow! Looking great Euterpe. I can only hope that my hair will look better naked when I've been a CG for longer than two weeks.

If it makes you feel any better, Goob, the reason I didn't post a side/back view of my naked hair is because they are STRAIGHT. And I was shocked that the front had any wave at all.

[quote=CurlyQMom;1248342] Oh no - a lot of 3a hair doesn't curl well at the roots and gets curlier with length.
And I totally agree with whatsercurl - I think your curl pattern is stronger than a wavy.

Ditto! Mine just looks in need of some serious brushing and a flat iron.

Styling suggestions requested. Am I 3a??
I was so glad to see this thread. Have been lurking for a few months. My hair is fine and not much of it. For 2 months I've used Ouidad shampoo, moisturizing conditioner and Biolage leave-in (with cone). I really thought my hair was pretty straight except in humid environments when I fought like hell to tame it. I’m just beginning to go out and about sometimes with my hair curly and am growing it longer. Yesterday I did an ACV pre-rinse, Devacare NoPoo and Ouidad Moisturizing Conditioner. Here's my hair today after fully wetting with water and some DevaCurl Mister Right. My growing out bangs are shown…they’re not as curly. Am I 3a?? Any styling suggestions? THANKS!

Lynn -- I'm horrible at typing, but you definitely look like you have a lot of curl in there as opposed to wave!
Okay guys, my hair is drying with NO product in it as I type. I am not going to brush (I have been finger combing because I can't take the way I look when I pass a mirror). I did end up clipping it back because it was hanging in my face while I was trying to cook.
this is noooOOoo thing. I just used SS PT and then rinsed (cause I forgot something at the store and had to run out and get it while I was in the middle of the PT!)

It's been 5 hours since my shower. My son has grabbed at my hair and I have layed on it on the couch watching some HGTV with my hubby. My camera battery was dead so I couldn't take pictures sooner.
A puffy mess. lol

Goobernut, that is amazing! It continues to defy me how product can change hair into something else.
As for those who can go with no product and still look great? You all are lucky dogs. Who knows, maybe if I do all this for a long time, my hair will be moisture rich and I can be product-less.
