Coffee Curl Cream lite?

Has anyone tried this? I was thinking this might be a good replacement for my QC.

Its one of my faves

You'll see it referred to as CCCC lite. It makes my hair look like someone used a curling iron on it. The only drawback is that its only good for one day. It holds up really well the day of, but once I sleep on it, its pretty well gone.

Here's the post with pics from CCCC Lite.

And if your QC is working (cause it looks like it is from the pics you keep posting :P) why would do you wanna replace it?

I just worry about the mineral oil aspect of the QC. I don't know that I could/should use it everyday since I don't use a detergenty shampoo. I worry that I would get build up.

I don't do second day hair, so that's not really a concern for me. I love my morning showers too much!

And WOW, your hair looks AMAZING in those pictures!!!!

Yeah, I'm really loving the CCCC lite. It just bums me out that I can't use it at night like my regular routine. I've experimented a few times, and CCCC lite and runner's jelly got me close. It looked great the next morning, but was dead flat by noon. Meh.

I may have to just see if I can do a wet and style thing in the morning. I just love my coffee time too much. I sit and gestate with a cup of coffee and absolute quiet (in the dark) for like 30 mins. I'd have to give that up if I started washing/styling in the morning. The world doesn't want me to give up the coffee time lol.

I like it as well. I've tried it a bunch of different ways--but in the end settled on using it by itself with a very little leave in prior. I love the smell of this stuff too!

I use about a nickel and scrunch it in to wet hair.

The one thing I haven't tried is putting some in, doing some diffusing, and adding more in. That seems to be working well for me with a lot of other things (like Spiral Solutions stuff).

I can't wait to get my camera back!!

Hey alex, when you do that whole, scrunch more stuff in -- when do you do that? And with what? Are you scrunching in more Jelly, or more gel or what? Or something completely different.

Since the FHG isn't sticky this works great. Then I diffuse about another 5 minutes and let it air dry for an hour (while I am getting kids ready and take them to school..yes I go out with gel hair..but it's not that cold and I really don't care )
