Default Using a Denman??

I noticed today that, frequently, i miss spots when i apply my gel and they become really frizzy and just blahhh....so i was wondering would BRUSHING through my curl creme and gel help?? I was think of something like a denman, like they use in the supersoaker method but do u think that it will pull out waves to much?? Any tips for getting more even coverage?? I use garnier fructis gel

How are you applying your gel?

I found the denman did pull out my waves a bit, as long as I didn't brush too much and scrunch afterwards it was ok. My scalp loved the denman.

I use a denman almost everyday now. I have very thick hair and this is the only way I can really distribute product. If I use a curl enhancer then scrunch excessively I get more even waves than when I don't use the brush.
