I've tried KCKT, Giovanni Direct Leave In (but the smooth as silk deep conditioner with their shampoo in the green bottle was amazing for my hair) Miss Jessies, Carol's Daughter, DB Madagascar, Coconut Cupuacu Pomade, and Daily Leave-In... None of these have worked for me--I'd still end up with dry and greasy hair. For sealants, I know my hair loves coconut oil and aloe vera. But shea butter, castor oil, olive oil and jojoba all just sit on my hair and make my hair greasy.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or will coconut oil and maybe a aloe vera and tea tree oil spray be enough to keep my hair moisturized during the colder months? (I live in the midwest and then new england for school)

I was looking at DB Peach Kernal Hairmilk, Avocado & Wild Plum Twisting Cream (w/o glycerin) and the Komaza Califia line. I'm just afraid those products might be too heavy and make my hair oily.
Hair type: 4a/b, low porosity, coarse, medium density
Products: Terressentials Mud Wash, DB Peach Kernal Hair Milk, Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner, Coconut Oil
