They are not all curlygirl friendly, no. Not sure about the specifics of what you are using, but I know many of their styling aids have cones.

"All natural" can mean a lot of things and usually doesn't mean much at all when you are using commercial products. Natural Haven does a good job of explaining how companies are able to claim that they are "all natural" -- most of those chemicals started off as something natural. Chemicals aren't some nasty evil thing, and if you're trying to follow textbook CG you will end up using them a lot.
