I sort of spread my fingers wide and then stick them in my hair (so I have a "clump" between each finger), then squeeze my fingers together and twist the hair so it all curls in one direction. I don't know if that explanation made any sense, but I've found this helps with clumping and a more uniform curl pattern. If I just supersoak, I don't get as much clumping and my hair will curl/bend in different directions - I guess I'm sort of using my fingers like a comb, so the fine-tooth comb or denman would probably work for me too. Also, I do this upside down and then plop right after.
I'm going to have to try that method. Is it bad that I can't ever have second day hair because I'm too excited about trying a new method?
