I've been eating Stacy's Pita Chips
for several months now. I eat them a lot, as a quick on-the-go snack. But every time I ate them, I got headaches. I scoured the ingredients and no obvious triggers jumped out at me, so like any true foodie, I kept eating them. After yet another attack this morning, after snacking on the chips last night, I did a Google search. This
site alerted me to what might be the culprit and after some research I confirmed it.
Stacy's Pita's Chips contain barley malted flour, which contains tannins (the same stuff in wine). I had no idea. It's not one of the usual suspects.
I thought I'd share, in case someone didn't know.
