Curly hair is not nappy your friends are stuck in a terrible mindset like most mainstream black women. They've been taught like most of us have that if your hair isn't straight it's not presentable, if you want to be seen as beautiful you have to have straight hair. I'm sorry that your friends called your hair nappy. I have curly hair and people have called it nappy but I know it's because of a mentality that needs to be put to rest. You wear your hair how you want if they dnt like it it's their own problem
