Congratulations on your wedding!
My personal impression, just from browsing makeup boards and going to dept stores, was that MAC and Clinique were more for younger women, while Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder and Lancome were for a wider span of age ranges. Just my impression.
I'm guessing it's the sparkly primer and/or the powder that's highlighting whatever teensy lines you might have. Powder can settle into things. Personally, I've never found a powder that makes me look younger (although I might one day, who knows).
I hope you get some good advice and products at Sephora.
If you want to read lots of makeup reviews, while also entering a completely addictive time suck, have you tried lurking on makeupalley.com? The reviews have helped me find some good, affordable products that I wouldn't have otherwise tried.
