Congratulations greencup13! Let us know how it goes
After reading the other posts, I agree that curls are by no means unproffessional, and that the issue is really whether a person's hair, clothing, and appearance in general is well groomed. I personally have always worn my hair curly for interviews, regular work days, important meetings, etc. and never experienced any negativity or discrimination because of it (and I work for a large, conservative corporation). But there are definite stereotypes, especially in the media, about curly hair vs. straight hair. In my opinion, the romantic, free nature of curly hair is a beautiful counterpoint to the more rigid/structured aspects of the workplace, and I love to see other professionals rocking their curls.
