Today was actually nice today (despite my ranting last night about hating my hair).
I got quite a few compliments about my "braid out faux-hawk", which made me smile, 'cause I was feeling like crap today.
My favorite was from a small, elderly lady that I encountered when I went to the school main office.
"Your hair looks nice!" She said randomly, and, a few moments later, after I said thank you, she said "I like your outfit. You're a very pretty girl."
I'm not sure if it was the first or the last that made me super giddy.
