are you on bc for true bc or for some other reason that requires it? if you don't have to take bc i say don't.
beyond that, yes look at your diet. i posted recently about metabolic type eating. it's been working for me. it's basically not looking at total calories but the breakdown of your carbs/protein/fat in a way that is in line with your body's metabolism.
