No, it does not look wet. It looks beautiful! And I straightened my bangs for a long time and still do sometimes. It looks fine. It's your hair, do what you want with it. It's really truly pretty! Don't worry about others

We are too hard on ourselves and hair can be a big source of insecurity for us curlies. And some people have no filters on their mouths, or don't realize how easy it is for us to take what they say the wrong way.
