Yes, it is the little stuff. My mom and I were getting ready to eat one night last week and we both started crying when we looked at the potato salad. Oh lord The things that will set you off are strange.

Both of my parents passed away last year within 5 months of each other, and I still occasionally catch myself off guard. Just this morning I was looking at the store ads and thought "Hey, Mom's coffee is on sale...wonder if they're home from church yet." (as in, I was going to call to let her know)
(((bwavy))) It's hard when they are both gone, eh? My mom died when I was 25 and my dad died when I was 31. Both much too young to go. Definitely changes your perspective on things.

And hugs to all the curlies who have lost their loved ones, too. ((((curlies)))
