I would google some info on her breed to give you a better understanding of her nature. I would think given that she is young and bred with a wild cat, she may be highly active and might need lots of playtime. Cats also love secure places either high or low and a comfy spot by a window. They are independent too and aren't as needy as dogs.

I anticipate I will have a caregiver when my daughter leaves. I am sure it will be fine.
