I've eaten all kinds of food from frou-frou foods to down home cooking and there's excellent food all in between. I like cooking best that lets the taste of the food shine through. I don't like things all covered in sugar, gravy, and much of anything else. I used minimal sauce and cheese in my lasagna and rely heavily on fresh garlic, olive oil, vegetables and other fresh spices. I shuttered at the thought of eating canned or boxed foods or most everything else prepared.
