I've spent almost 15 years trying to find a good stylist, and I think I am ready to call it quits. One bad haircut after another...with last week's cut being the worst I've ever had. I look like I have a Portuguese man-o-war on my head! Ok, maybe not quite that bad, but I do have a definite puff ball on top with some longer straighter hair hanging down beneath that.

Soo, my question is, is it possible to cut my own hair? Where do I start? I think I have a mixture of curls - 3A at the crown, 2C underneath, and an underlayer of 2A.
