Deva products have their fair share of protein and the coconut oil may be holding on to the protein like crazy glue... Which can dry u out...With that said u may need to rotate in some protein-less moisturizing products to balance things out. Maybe a new curl cream, gel or leave in? Protein overload?

I'm gonna try rotating in some other products and see if there's an effect. I'm thinking of trying some things from the Curl Junkie line.
