The answer is going to depend on exactly what you're using as no-poo and how your hair feels. Many sulfate-free shampoos (low-poos), and some cleansing conditioners (such as Deva No-Poo or Curl Junkie Daily Fix) contain coco betaine, which will prevent silicone buildup. If you're using a regular conditioner to co-wash, you will need to go by how your hair looks and feels, but there is a good chance that you will still at least need to use your sulfate shampoo once in a while.
