It is called the Carve and Slice, and it is a wet cut where the stylist holds up small sections of hair at a time and snips small strands within that section (I am assuming at some strategic point such as where the curl curves). I've not entirely figured out the method, so perhaps someone else with more experience can add more info. I will say that the first 2 Ouidad cuts were the best I've ever had. They grew our beautifully as well. My main reservation is the thinning and if I had very thick hair, I'd probably like it. I may get another Ouidad cut again, just not every time I get it cut.
