Did the conditioner you used have protein? Maybe overload. I have to dc right after henna then cowash the next day to get my moisture balance back.
I realized what I did wrong. I had been using a conditioner with cones in it. Last time I clarified my hair and then lightly conditioned it BEFORE doing the henna melt. This time I didn't do that. So the combination of the cones and the melt made my hair dry, tangled and frizzy. Also, the color didn't take as well. I cowashed today and used my busy izzy gets buttered up and my hair seems ok.
