well, you could always go to the Sally's link and read the reviews there, though there are only two so far ;p lol! Newave - Curl Easy Pro Brush For $2 - $5, I would think you can't really go wrong...and hey, if it doesn't work for you, you could use it to twist your spaghetti, lol! 
ETA: for the record, I didn't think mine would really be useful at all - and now I am quite addicted to it
