Cage or not, I wouldn't leave a tame pet out to fend for itself like that.

I even pull over and feel out the situation if I see a loose dog. And I'm scared of loose dogs.

I carried an injured squirrel in a MacDonald's drink tray to the vet hospital once.

Because I live up a long dirt road that is rough. I also have a car with slick floors. I was worried he might get scared and freak out & get hurt. Thats why I came to get my pet taxi, which didn't work out either.

But luckily, the bunny was enjoying it's prime spot between a branch and vegetation and was saved.

I wish it wouldn't have shook its head around when the flash went off. So sweet.
