List of common proteins
is very common - many people think they are using a deep moisture conditioner while it is actually loaded with proteins. Protein overload can mimick damage and causes "phantom" dryness. Thankfully it can be reversed without cutting.
Here's a list I found of some common proteins used in hair products. Feel free to add!
