Ha! In my younger and more vulnerable years I tried reading some fanfiction. What could go wrong with reading more stories about characters I liked? I mean, a lot of it probably would have bad writing but
some of it had to be good!
I absolutely avoid anything having to do with "fandom" for things that I like, but I loooove hearing about crazy fandoms for stuff I'm not interested in (see: Supernatural). Not that I've ever seen
Avatar or its sequel series.
